no, see, what i thought of it as was:

Player A puts Player B on their list 3 times. Player B gets 3 votes.
Player C puts Player B on their list 3 times. Player B gets 3 more votes, for a total of 6 in the first turn.

when what really happens is that Player B gets 2 votes per turn, one from each person.

i was actually going to argue that you could change my name to any other crocodilian species with a p in it but then i had to actually struggle to think of any species. turns out that out of 23 species, there is only one with a p in its name (philippine crocodile). apparently crocodilians and the letter p really do not mix!
