FriendMon Tangerine

You wake up and extract yourself from an unfamiliar looking pod. Everything is orange and black and weirdly sterile and you don't remember how you got here. The monitor behind you crackles to life.

Aside from the obvious gap of how you got here, wherever this is, your memory is mostly in tact. You are Tangerine, you grew up in Pumpkin Town with your best friend Raven and you both used to love the FriendMon video game series. The last thing you remember is graduating from high school and now you're here, wherever here is, with this machine that claims that FriendMon are real creatures.

Look, we all know that Crabbrulee was a stroke of genius. It's my favorite out of its evolutions, although Crabsuzette, and CrabbysJubilee are solid designs.

You gotta go Candy type, it's super weak to water but strong to basically everything else.

Not to mention it's a solid counter to the meta relevant Cinnamonroar.

You consider the Gloostic that somehow seems to have gotten in here. They're not an especially uncommon FriendMon and this is only a 1 star version. That said you are fond of these little guys. Probably don't want one as your BFF FriendMon but you definitely would like to catch this guy maybe.

For some reason you're having a really hard time remembering what all the evolutions of these FriendMon look like, but you do at least remember their typings. You think really hard about which FriendMon you want as your BFF FriendMon, bearing in mind this information.

I was going to go to selection and at this point Crabrulee was winning through a combination of Discord emotes, irl friends opinions and suggestions in the thread. I decided to hold off for today though as the typing information (something Tangerine would know in this case) might sway people in different directions. If there's no new strong opinions Crabrulee will be picked and I'll have that up tomorrow.

The only thing that could dissuade me from Crab is if it became bipedal when it evolved.

Ditch the deer, I'm sure this won't won't ever come back to haunt us.

Reset and attempt to get a shiny. I don't know how, punch yourself in the face maybe? Then take that sweet, sweet candy crab.
