Lucia: How does this help?
Daydream: We're going to lead it into a trap.

Daydream: By giving it what it wants. A way out.

Lucia: You want us to trap the Entity... By what, dangling an exit key in its face?
Lucia: Meanwhile the entity is stopping you from dismantling the construct... Which would be what it wants...?
Lucia: It sounds like its in the way of its own escape plan. Pretty dumb.
Daydream: .... I don't know why its stopping me from taking down the construct, but it still wants to get out.

Daydream: You. Seems besides myself, you too can dismantle the construct or at the very least, a disturbance.

Daydream: I didn't understand it either, but after a while of viewing memories I noticed a pattern.

Daydream: It will manipulate you some way and somehow to make an exit.
Daydream: You're going to have to wait until you're sure that you know what form it's taken...
Daydream: And then you're going to discreetly inform me so I can examine the suspect.
Daydream: Once I confirm, you will strike it down with your...
Daydream: Deadly technique...
Daydream: Once you kill it, it will no longer have a hold on the construct and I can dismantle it.
Lucia: How does Derrick get saved after all this?
Daydream: He will live because this construct is the only thing keeping him "dead".
Daydream: My memory used to be that he was killed and I stopped his death from being a reality but...
Daydream: I had come to realize that he was almost killed, and I had avoided the outcome with the formation of the construct.
Daydream: Once dismantled we can finally rid ourselves of this lucid nightmare we're stuck in, don't you see??
Lucia: .....
Daydream: Has anything I said been unclear?
Lucia: ..... You speak rather well. More formal than I remember.
Lucia: Tell me, what do you think of me?
Daydream: ... Those events we left behind. The only thing that matters is the future.
Even while taking every word breathed by Alice with a grain of salt, it seems to make sense to you. You don't really recall what did or didn't happen and at this point who is to say?

I feel like it's trying to trick us by telling us the real daydream is actually the UE. It's straight up telling us it's own plan for escape. Like I say, I feel like it's going to point us in Alice's direction and say "There, that's the UE! Get it!"
