Okay okay so if opening a Present and getting a poison poisons you, that means I was poisoned D1 (I didn't really have indication of that but I suppose I should've known due to the nature of Poison in the game) BUT, Poison makes me die in two-in-game days so would I be dead now, or on D4?

re:CSJ honestly I can kind of see their claim making sense in some sort of way but I honestly can't believe it 100% because of how flipfloppy, weird and specific the roleclaim is

same lmao and np, it's hard to tell what some weird specific roles get called sometimes bc different places have come up w/ different shorthand so that's where my misunderstanding came from

My condolences on your terrible rolls then, amigo. That does make you + robottobt both being town somewhat more possible, since Scientist is not quite as powerful as a straight-up cop and Shotgun Investigator is significantly less powerful than that and a miller makes them both not-powerful enough that two town investigative roles + an item that investigates is not super broken

Well, huh. It seems like I can only see if two players have the same alignment. I don’t have any clue what CSJs and a52s are. And my skills on guessing which dog year is the most dog are not quite in tune. Could probably use my skill better by investigating myself and someone else. Making for at least on constant/known variable.

so RL is it randomly decided the group of people your thing checks? I guess it's like a slot machine, maybe you'll get the good roll that lets you clear a large swathe of town in one go. but as it stands yes if I was in that group I would make the thing ping as guilty
even with a lot of power roles in a game, some people are more equal than others are going to have less powerful roles

I have to agree with granola, I don't believe robot's statements much either...but I also want CSJ gone, and I want to see robot lie to me about tonight's results
btw robot if you really are a scientist you shouldn't be checking yourself, scientists might not have the immediate certainty of a cop, but they can set up a mass of confirmed town that boxes scum in at mylo much faster than a cop can. so you should check 2 people (hopefully ones that won't get switcheroo'd) who aren't yourself

I'd prefer to win as town than jester if you're going to take so long to lynch me. Extending was a waste of time otherwise.

It would be great for Robottobt and Robust Laser to be a little more explicit in revealing your checks so we can do some fact-checking in the extended day.

i mean both of my groups had seedy in it so suddenly anything else in them isn't useful information. round 1 i checked only people whose name started with 's'. last night i doubled down on sunspider and seedy finding them the most likely of the choices. now i know it's seedy and i still don't totally buy the miller claim because it's just such an easy way to deflect an investigation result but whatever

if i'm still around i'll share future results

to be clear i didn't JUST look at sunspider and seedy last night because i couldn't do just that but the others don't seem so relevant now

To be fair she claimed Day 1 specifically to warn investigators that checking her is a waste of time.

Man I wish I was a real cop so I could investigate the claimed investigative roles, because while the initial claims felt very organic the explanations leave a lot to be desired.

Laser, while yes a miller claim is an easy way out for scum is there anything else that actually bugs you about seedy otherwise?
