Sweet Dessert Reign
Lava cake is my personal favourite (I can make), although trifle made with brownies is a very close second.

I have a particular fondness for a good cheesecake, but I don't enjoy making it and it takes a lot of cream cheese, making it expensive...

For quick fixes, I have a three ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe that's great for parties and is dairy + gluten free, which is always a bonus when your friends have diverse allergies.

And as for leftover rice: cinnamon, brown sugar, and raisins make it a rice pudding to remember. It takes a while to cook, but it also only needs stirring once every ten minutes so you can do something else at the same time.

What are your favourite desserts, and why?

I really want to make a rice pudding tomorrow. Do you ever put clove in?

Come to think of it my rice pudding idea sounds a lot like my "I'm hungry so I'm just gonna cook rice and lentils and throw some spices in" idea.

No, but I think it could work. I have put nutmeg in it before as well.

I made some rice pudding. Next time, more milk, less sugar, less clove. I put too much clove in everything. I also stirred in some whisked egg, that was good.

I found a whole thing of unused vanilla almond milk and used that. The person who owned it isn't coming back to the house for a month so I didn't feel an obligation to save it for them. I think it added good flavor.

Yes, vanilla is something I forgot to mention but often use. I think I'm going to make rice pudding today (my mouth keeps watering when I think about it).
