The leaves fall because they are altruistic. They know the grass is cold, so they take steps to cover it up like a blanket. Very thoughtful of them, really.
Then humans come along with great big metal claws and ruin everything.

don't eat a leaf, unless you want a leaf within you for all time...
the only vore I can stomach is herbivore, and only because I love to watch organismos doom themselves with the perma-leaf.
has anyone ever put together that the season is called fall and leaves happen to fall during the season?? what did our ancestors know that we don't? what's buried under town hall?
