You tell Slick that the thing exploded when you sprayed it with water. You weren't expecting that to happen. It also wasn't the normal type of explosion that you're used to.

A lot of things in the room were damaged, but for the most part you were only blown clear. There's no trace of the goo itself, just some hardened chunks of shell and some stains.

They don't seem to be any worse off than you are.

Tubs is back on his feet, and willing to concede the chase for now. He's wondering what the three of you should do next. Maybe there are some other places in the Waterworks that might still have something valuable to snag.
