Although I prefer the less itchy experience of going clean shaven, a month’s worth of facefuzz still being there has to do with how I get about as much beard length in a week what the average white guy seems to get in a day or two. Life is not worth having self-inflicted razor burn, and it’s very easy to get lazy about it (which is pretty much what happened here).


See, this is the most famous person in my family tree. Great^26 uncle or something like that (I have not been told much more than that it comes from my grandmother’s lineage). That is a lifetime worth of beard for him, if he is in adherence to Confucian doctrine. And I can do it in a couple of years. Though I don’t think I’ll be able to nab a “King ___ the Great” or better in this lifetime, so.

Having facial hair in general pretty much sucks unless it's perfect like a few of our eagle timers do have.

I'm pretty sure that if I ever got the ability to shapeshift, 90% of what I'd use it for is a method of removing facial hair that doesn't involve scraping my neck with sharpened steel.

It's super fast, you don't have to buy cream, and the chances of razor burn are basically nil unless you let it grow too long for it to handle

Wet shave is best shave. Preferably with as few blades as possible.

I think some of the mascara rubbed off of my ridiculous eye hair but I pretty much have eyeshadows permanently, regardless of restedness--ghoulishness of appearance varies by light and angle xD

Somewhere between my nonexistent photography/fashion/modeling skills, sour attitude, and facial hair, I could not quite properly convey that while this one is better than most, I do look kind of like I’m someone’s grandma with this one.

I’d like to try out some crazy anime hair or K-pop thing someday, but it’s looking like that might never happen unless my resistance to aging turns out to be Gackt-tier.

One of my friends surprised me today with a knit hat, which she made after remembering how I'd been wishing for one last winter. It's a bit big, but is a surprisingly snug fit given that she didn't have measurements of my head.
