Hello teamfriends! April's end brings the time round again for Eagle Time's hosting renewal, and Pinary and I would greatly appreciate your help if you've got the five bucks (or more!) to spare.
Pinary's already figured out what we need in terms of funds, so prospective donators will know exactly where their cashbucks are going. The response last year was great; we got most of the necessary funds in within days and Pinary covered the last bit to make sure nobody's money was wasted. We'll likely have a similar arrangement this time round.
Hosting will be $120 (up from $90 last year, so we can keep having fun without waiting five minutes for pages to load); hosting is $15.50 for $135.50 US total.
The ever-nefarious Pinary has also implemented a STRETCH GOAL for if we end up with an overshoot of offerings - eagle-time.org will get a shiny new SSL certificate. The honest truth is that it's just a neat thing to have if the funds happen, but it's far more fun to catastrophise it, so the going story is it's in preparation for when we introduce micro-transactions to Enhance Your Forum Experience™. Gotta stay ahead of the Leading Brand Forums!
