Things aren't particularly bad, that doesn't mean they are good either.

Derrick leaves the room. Reggie and Bambino follow.

You can sense Lucas trying to make light of the situation, but there was a small crack in his voice that has you slightly concerned.

Seconding.

You direct Uilos' view to the outside, the black sun casts all in a crimson twilight while its denizens roam the skies by the hundreds, aimlessly searching for... anyone.

Great idea. Seconding.

You're not sure, but you think Uilos' uncomfortable experience with the flowers has him a bit spooked. If there's a chance he can gain favor with Locad it might be worth the adventure, however Uilos does already have a gift and already promised you his trinket. Greed could come at a steep cost.

1. Uilos' hunch might be right (decline quest for blood rose)
2. Uilos' hunch is unfounded (Begin quest for blood rose)

You decide that when the moment presents itself you will go looking for the Blood rose, but for now there are others matters to deal with.

The figure waddles through the door way, from this distance you can tell that it's... crouching.

This monster is showing signs that it may try to attack you after the black sun has passed. But at the moment now it seems you have options.

1. Return to the fort
2. Strike first (Risk hunters appearing)
3. Make a run for it (Risk hunter encounter outside)

It seems this monster has no interest in fighting right at this moment. But you can tell Lucas has irritated it.

Nah, chill guise, our boy Lucas' got this.... the best Defense is a better-executed Offense.

>Lucas: You need to dig deeper than that. Make him sorry for even existing in this wretched state so that Emily can purify him.

>Emily: Get ready to play good-cop. Text Derrick and Lucia to not get in Lucas' way for a bit. Offer the slimeball there freedom from it's own wretched existence when it's at it's most vulnerable.

RE: Lucidstuck II
Honestly, what does it matter if it's irritated? Everyone is going to be fighting it anyway. Unless it has some kind of power to completely render the girls (including Lucas now) useless and just lost us one of our fighters by pissing it off?

RE: Lucidstuck II
I figure we can retreat, and attract the hunters to it by making loud noises somewhere in the house. We definitely don't want to fight this thing head on since it's very fast and can one shot everyone except Emily and Uillos.

Seconded. We're not close enough to his level to risk the get under his skin game

RE: Lucidstuck II
What if we combined tactics?

I'm not going to do an actual command, since others are better at that, but what if we make a loud noise to summon the hunters, while also using the smokescreen to retreat. That way, they'll take care of the monster and should hopefully disperse before we return later on.

You bring your backpack to your front and give it a squeeze. A dark plume of smoke is expelled out making you and your group indistinguishable!

Reggie's words sit with you. Some part of you was eager to fight but you don't really want to risk the other's safety. Emily's silence both irritates and satisfies you. You don't know why she bothered to hold her stance if she was not planning on being consistent from the start.
