He shifted his paws, and stood up, his tail fell limp behind him as he gazed down at them. "...you should've taken it as a yes." He merely grumbled, looking away.

“Oh, right.”

[Back at the ship, Felt was trying to pry the boards off of the door. Normally she would bash the door in or shoot the boards off, but she didn't have her laser rifle. Sure her screwdriver could work, but that would take too long and she couldn't think of anything better to do on the ship.]

Yu was mindlessly wandering the halls, just trying to forget the situation she had gotten herself in. For a little while she tried to draw something back in what was now, she supposed, her and Indigo's room, but everything had looked so awful and hideous. Indigo had suggested that they go and walk around the ship to get her mind off her art, but that only brought her mind to all of the other things she had and would completely fail at that day. All she really wanted to do was curl up in a corner and die, but that didn't really sound all that pleasant and she would leave Indigo high and dry if she did after he'd been so nice to her and that would just be mean. So, she kept walking, the hope that anything would get better having been left far back in her wake.

He shifted his paws awkwardly, grumbling irratedly. He didn't look up at all, all four eyes on that head angled at the ground.

[Felt had managed to pry one of the boards off of the door, nearly smacking herself in the face with it on accident when it suddenly came free. Still, it was progress. Slow progress.]

He shifted his paws awkwardly, grumbling irratedly. He didn't look up at all, all four eyes on that head angled at the ground.

[Thalia is beginning to feel awkward.]

He merely sighed, turning around and heading in the other direction.

During their slow trek through the winding corridors of the ship, Indigo caught sight of Felt in her endeavors. "What are you doing!?" Indigo shouted, their voice echoing around the hall. Yu flinched, her mind immediately assuming that she was the one at fault. "No not you Yu, you're perfectly fine. I'm talking about Felt," Indigo said, their voice dripping at Felt's name. "Obviously the door is boarded up for a reason, do you want to let some sort of dangerous monstrosity out!? It could maul us, rip us to pieces! Why would you do something so rashly when you wouldn't be the only one affected by it, because believe me, I would have no problem with you just causing your own death like that, but it could hurt one of us when we did absolutely nothing wrong!" Indigo seemed to have started a full blown speech while Yu grew more and more uncomfortable by the second.

[`` Ok first of all, can you please at least quiet it down? I recently got a chunk of metal launched at my head and your yelling isn't making it or my thoughts any clearer, Indigo. Secondly, I can't remember where my room is, a large piece of my memory is completely gone, and I'm missing my rifle-aka my only form of defense. Anything lurking behind that door can't possibly be worse then what all has happened today on top of being on board with a possibly dangerous captain and a weirdo AI!``]

"Oh, and don't forget the thing that seems to think of skarvs as a mere item!" Indigo retorted as Yu fumbled to retrieve her art supplies from her inventory. When Yu had successfully flipped to a clean page and held her pencil in her still very much trembling hand, she quickly wrote out a few words.

"Can both of you just stop shouting so much, it's too loud for my tasteIf it wouldn't be too much of a bother, could you just lower you voices a tiny bit as it's a little bit too loud for my tastes. I apologize if this is inconvenient. You don't have to if you don't want to. I don't want to burden you with my worthless opinions. I'm sorry, I'm rambling and I'm saying too much. Apologies." Yu turned around the sketchbook so that Felt could see it after she had written out her statement in a jittery and hesitant hand. She seemed to shrink back after she showed what she had written, embarrassed that she would jump into this conversation so rudely, and selfishly at that.

[Thalia runs into the room, her screen displaying a middle finger, before running back out.]

[Felt's barely fazed by the AI's sudden appearance-might as well just accept that the AI doesn't seem to obey the laws of physics. Any laws really.]

[Felt is kind of baffled by Yu's response-and annoyed at Indigo, but that can wait. Its..a lot of apologizes. Far too many. What even was she apologizing for? Oh right, the noise level. It was very loud. Made it very hard to think. No, wait, she was apologizing for asking for it to be quieter. There, good, she managed to remember it all.]
[``Uhm, Yu, you don't need to apologize for asking a simple request..though you are right, it is far too loud. Wait, notebook. Do you draw?``]

"I'm sorry Yu, I didn't realize how loud I was being," Indigo said sheepishly. Mere seconds after Felt asked if she drew, Yu flinched up defensively, curling around her notebook. "Why yes, her art is quite nice in fact, it's really-" Indigo began as Yu quickly wrote out another message. She cut them off as she pointed to something she had just written before scribbling it out and turning the book around once again to show Felt.

"No, my art is horrible, everything about it is wrong and bad. It's awful. No matter what Indigo says I know that they're just saying it to make me feel better. In reality everyone can truly see what completely terrible art I have and is just lying about it for my sake, it doesn't work. I know what they're doing and it just makes me feel worse, so please, don't add on to the never ending lies that surround my art. I just want it to stop. Why won't it just stop?" Yu's frantic handwriting said, her hand only trembling more and more the more she wrote as the letters got larger and sloppier, taking up more and more of the page. At the bottom of all of this though, there was a smaller, much more precise sentence. "I'm sorry, please don't hate me," was all it said.

[Felt frowned slightly, trying to figure out what to say. Everything she said just seemed to anger Indigo, and she really didn't want her to start yelling again. All the yelling was making Felt very antsy, and she just kinda wanted to find some quiet place to curl up in until everyone stop screaming. But she didn't want to make Yu upset. God damnit.]
[``I don't hate you, Yu. I won't say anything if you don't want me to, I doubt I could think of anything to say anyways so its no trouble with me.``]

Yu quickly wrote out a reply. "No no no no, don't worry yourself with what I would want, I would never want to be a burden on someone like that. Well I suppose I'm a burden for Indigo, which I'm very sorry for, but I don't want to add someone else to that list, even though I probably already have, having sort of joined this crew and all... I just-" The rest of the sentences and those following it were all scribbled out a a large mass of darkness. Yu ripped the sheet from her notebook and handed it to Felt so that she could continue writing while Felt read.
She scratched out the next message equally fast. "I'm just making everything worse, so I'll just leave, it'll best. I'm so sorry to have been a nuisance. I'm sorry I'm always a bother and a burden. My apologies that I can't seem to do anything right. I'm sorry for causing problems every time I get into a social situation. I'm sorry I mess everything up. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please, I'm so sorry, so please don't hate me more than you already probably do." Yu tore this page from her notebook as well, shoving it into Felt's hands before quickly recoiling fearing she may have been to aggressive.

[Thalia goes to her room, completely unaware that Felt was trying to open the door to room 19. She grabs a phone, looking through her contacts, until she finds the one labelled “Eris.” She sends Eris a meme.]

[``Jeez, ok- I don't hate you, I'm sure Indigo doesn't hate you, though I can't speak for them, and you aren't a bother. ``]

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to assume. I'll just leave and get out of your way. This is just going more and more wrong as time goes on. Again, apologies." Yu quickly scribbles on one last sheet before tearing it out, giving it to Felt, and sprinting down the hall back toward her room.

The Taeking settled in the corner of some room, grunting.

[Felt made a half hearted attempt at following Yu, stopping after only a few feet. Maybe it was better to let her run off to who knows where, nothing anybody ever said seemed to get through to her anyways. Besides, if there was something horrible and very very carnivorous lurking behind that door, the less people nearby to get eaten the better, right?]

His eyes widened in surprise.

After arriving in their room, Yu slumps to the ground against the wall, putting her art supplies back into her inventory. She looks down at the ground for a moment before pulling the art supplies back out of her inventory. Flipping to a new page she began to write whatever came to mind.
"Why do I always do this? Why can't I, for once, just quit the unnecessary apologizing and just socialize like a normal person? Why do I apologize every other word for no apparent reason. It just hurts people's views of me really. If I keep this up, when there's something very big to be sorry about, no one will believe me because I've drained all meaning from the word whenever I write it. Why do I mess up every conversation I have, no matter how large or small it is? Why am I so useless that speck of dust has more use than I do? Why can't I just get out of my head? Why won't I let myself out? Why have I trapped myself in this labyrinthine prison of my mind, so lost that no map or help would ever be able to find me? Why did I-" the paper read, although she was abruptly snapped back to reality when Indigo spoke up, getting much too worried about Yu's current state.
"Yu, how about we take your mind off that conversation back there and sort through these suitcases to tidy up this room a bit. Plus we might find something cool in one of them!" Indigo tried. Yu honestly didn't think that she deserved any 'cool thing' that they found, but Indigo did, and would probably really enjoy whatever they found.
Yu replaced her art supplies in her inventory, and began to root through the suitcases to see if there was anything in them besides dust and moths.
