>Bob: Shoot the guard while their back is turned.

So, we got news from the discord. Apparently the guards have human level reactions, so we have to be VERY careful about what we do to them. If a guard doesn't show up, the others will notice.

We have to hope the two mobile guards don't loop all the way around the building, or else the guards in the back would notice.

From now on we need to avoid killing the guards until we know their movement patterns. If we don't know what other guards they'll intersect on their routes, we don't know who else we have to take care of.

After we shoot this guard we need to search the bodies. We need to know exactly what kind of gear they're carrying, and more importantly if they have any radios. If they have radios it greatly changes the course of action we have to take.

Bob: Crossbow em

You brandish your crossbow and take aim. You notice the tone of the guard's whistling to be that of carefree joy, a simple job for decent pay. How unfortunate.

You pull the trigger releasing the guard of any further duties. Another successful murder.

... The night is still silent, you continue your anonymity.

The guard's blood paint the walls, with this, the outside patrol unit has been eliminated. 4 Bolts remain.

Bob: Check the guard's body. Look to see what they have on them

You investigate the bloody corpse. It has a metal baton and a handgun. Both items not necessary as you have both ranged and melee weapons. You also find a photo of the corpse and its wife and 3 kids, a son and 2 daughters, as well as dog tags, seems it served time in war before its end.

You also find a phone, but the battery is dead and thus useless. No radio either.

Oh wow. Leaving traces and blood trails already.

Well, conveniently all the windows are a floor above us. So thankfully none of the inside guards will likely notice the corpses and bloodstained walls and ground from their angle on the second floor.

And thank goodness the guard didn't have a radio. Probably nobody will be checking in on him until his shift ends. (Unless their patrol routes include the front of the building)

>Briefly check the walls we've seen for any obvious cameras. If we've been seen already we really need to hurry.
Looking back I realize we've seen the walls pretty well so far, no obvious cameras present.

>Check the other guard's stuff as well.

Bob's just naturally happy. It's merely coincidence that he's happy while shanking someone. It only looks like Bob's a murderous psycopath...

Besides, none of them were wearing an "Alive" sticker.
How alive could they have been?

I'd just like to point out so other readers can also please notice that in every panel featuring them since we started killing people, the rock is smiling slightly while the bush (or was it grass? some kind of plant anyway) is frowning just as much.

I'd recommend/request we check on the stationary guards before we hide the bodies. We can take the hide them after we're sure we don't have to kill more guards before they notice us. Also, we might have more bodies to hide/pay respects for.

They have had this look weither or not we've killed someone, like when we were just looking at a map:

Hmm. We need a way to get rid of the guards in the front in case they notice the patrol missing. If we can't be rid of them, we'd better move quickly into the building.

We know that guards will notice it if a guard goes missing. So if the front guards would see the two we've just killed, they will go looking for us soon, which could put us in a situation where we get discovered or have to kill more guards.

Why not observe first and then act instead of act first and deal with the consequences?

Staying here to see if the guards in the front do anything is an action too, and it can have consequences. It could be quite inconvenient for us to stick around until the guards discover that the patrol is no longer patrolling, since they might start searching the area or telling other guards.

Getting rid of the guards in the front would leave us with no-one who can discover our murders. If we can do it, it'd be safer.

Taking a moment to observe their patterns is by far the best way to go for a variety of reasons, including the fact that we won't be able to kill both of them fast enough to remain unnoticed. We have a crossbow, they're not known for having the greatest rate of fire.

Assuming the guards we've already killed would make a full circle around the building (which they might not, in which case we're golden), since we know they don't have radios it would mean the remaining two guards would check on them in person. This means they'd most likely separate so that one of them could keep guarding the doors, while the other goes to search. THAT would be our best time to strike, then go around and follow up on the other one.

Even if that's not the case, we'd need to observe them to find an opening to give us enough time to kill them both without alerting them.

You loot the corpse, stealing its belt and handgun. The handgun has 10 bullets.

You give a moment of silence for the sins you have committed, you feel it was a necessary evil though, because your mission demands success.
...
...
...

Not much has changed. You feel the same as always. Creepy.

Nice handiwork! You drag the corpse out into the field and rip up some grass to cover the blood stains. You also use that grass to wipe the red paint off the walls.

You return to the front, and do the same thing with your first corpse.

You want to equip your thermoptic suit, but your belt would get in the way. You also have no room to store in your inventory.

You're not sure how to proceed.

You perform a simple switcharoo. You equip your thermoptic suit and store the GUARD BELT in your inventory. Your face is the only thing full visible, so when you want to be completely invisible, just make sure your back is facing a potential on-seer!

You feel slightly ready for more bloodshed, things might get serious. If you decide to take another life, a countdown will appear for a better reward!
