You have been asleep for a very, very, very long time. You are unsure how you know this, your memory is nothing but vague sounds echoing upon empty shadows.

All you know for certain is your nature. You are a god. Made by the Creator and sent on a mission.

You have the nasty suspicion you might have failed in that endeavour.

Whatever energy awakened you seems to be slowly dissipating as you absorb it, it's impending absence makes you feel slightly worried. Perhaps its best you do something before it disappears entirely. But what?

It.... It's just energy apparently.

You try to talk to it as best you know how but it doesn't seem to be responding. It just sits there, being an encouraging light full of warmth and happiness like some kind of stupid puppy.

It takes you a second to realise you don't know what a puppy is, but apparently it is a very good boy.

That's an idea but uh... You have no idea how to make something.

Or what you could make to bottle up some light.

Perhaps some kind of light bottle? But wouldn't the light just pass through it in that case because its transparent? Sides you have nothing to make it out of... You get the distinct impression you shouldn't need anything more than the atoms floating around you but you have no idea why you feel that or how you're supposed to do anything about that.

...You don't know how to make a glass jar, you're pretty sure fusion reactions on a mass scale are a bit beyond your skill level right now.

This energy is still slowly dissipating. You could probably try to absorb the rest of it before it disappears.

If you absorb it, it will just be you. That's a lonely fate. Use the remaining energy to make a friend much like you were made.

Absorb the energy field, even though it's larger than your head and thus against the Evil Overlord Handbook.

Friends? That'd be nice. You think you had friends once. But you can't quite, seem to... recall them.

In either case, if you can't make something as simple as a glass jar or as massive as a star, you're pretty sure making someone as intelligent as yourself might be a bit beyond you.

You're at least 25% certain this was not where you were before.

Like almost exactly.
