Cosmic Encounter - PBP: Deep Space Water

I too shall invite the Reactor and Laser, though I can totally draw up some negotiations. I mostly need to do some card management but I can allow you a colony for your cooperation. Precondition to negotiations though, you must publicly declare in thread when you play your encounter card.

The order of Acceptance:

1.Laser (any side)
2.Reactor (any side)

Lasers will send 4 ships to join the Yin-Yang, from planets A, B, C, and D.

Yeah, I'll join the Yin-Yang too. Reactor sends one ship each from B, D, and E.

hmm. well i suppose that was a precaution on your side in case i end up attacking? not really necessary to throw away your card on that but... well there are a multitude of reasons why i think you would do that and none are good so i'll just dismiss them all and negotiate instead, which is what i am doing now.

Reactor, can you do me a solid and check the Yin-Yang's facedown card for me?

Here's my pitch: you take the rest of the cards in my hand, and if you draw the wild destiny card next encounter you can swing by and pick up VoyE for free.

3 cards, and a 1/5 chance getting a colony? No thanks. By the way, how can I find out exactly what cards are left in the Destiny deck? Is there a list?

I want a colony. I will offer my Yin-Yang flare for getting one. Would this be good terms? The only other valuable card I have is an unidentified flare card.

it's actually a 50/50 chance since the remaining cards are two blues (which you can redraw), the wild, and a red. I can extend that arrangement so that the next time anyone attacks VoyE and invites you along you can call in that freebie for your whole alliance if you'd like.

I should point out it's 50% chance at a free colony and three cards for literally nothing from you. I don't really wanna tell you exactly what I want (because trust issues are fun!) but I can guarantee you I'm making the offer in good faith.

What if you gave colony E to me now, and in return, I swear not to attack you if I draw a wild next? I figure the only reason you're not offering it to me now is because I could attack you again and take a second one.

I'm fine with this offer otherwise.

Hmmm, no that's not really my thought process on this one either. I can throw in either a detailed explanation on my strat here or let you dictate how many ships I send to your next two defensive call-to-arms.

Actually you know what? You've been pretty cool for negotiating in the first place and I can probably stand to be a little less antagonistic. Take my cards, park a ship on VoyB, and blow some raspberries at CB for his plan to ride your back to victory and we'll call it square.
