I am oh so terribly sorry, but this key is ours. You can come along with us if you fancy it, but we'll be the ones holding onto it, thanks.

[Athena, we were too slow. If there is something in the locked room you can keep safe, do it now. Hephaestus is on his way, and we can only delay him for so long. Helios, if there is anything you can do to help Athena, now would be the time.]

RE: [Fortuna]: 1/28 Key Got
Seconding asking why, and also readying the lamp, preferably as a seperate command used when he gets uppitity. Heph is a V1, and thus we can't easily sneak things past him. I think.

Hey Amaterasu, if you were to stop lighting up this room, glowy old Hepheastus would be visible for us but we wouldn't be visible for him. Wouldn't that be convenient?

>Adrax: use [Trick room] and pull Hepheastus' mount out under him.

RE: [Fortuna]: 1/28 Key Got
Okay the way I see it, here are our options:

-We roomtrap Hephaestus and hope we can get a word in because if we do that we will absolutely be in his way. Not favorable, we'd be risking our and our patrons' lives. Athena especially would kill us if we get out of that.

-We escort him to the room, keep the key on us but agree to open the door for him, and then we go in and roomtrap Eris. My only worry is our crew being left alone with Hephaestus after he has had his goal taken from right in front of him, though he doesn't seem the type to kill our crew for something we did. He'd probably figure our crew is innocent and... oh. He might just. wait patiently for the roomtrap to end. Hm. Maybe we could get Athena and Eris to fuse? That would help matters here.

If we go with the latter option, which is my personal choice, we'll have to tell our patrons to trust us first so Athena doesn't think we're betraying her. Perhaps we send Helios the "trust us" message in a spoiler as we ask Hephaestus why he wants the key. Either way,

>Ask Hephaestus why he wants the key first.

Edit: Oh yeah, putting the lamp in front of him and running is also an option.

Edit again: I had a small misunderstanding about how roomtrapping works.

RE: [Fortuna]: 1/28 Key Got
We can also plain murder hepheastus here and now.

Roomtrapping Eris would be an inadviseable way out. Not only is Eris extremely paranoid and likely able to kill us with a thought, Eris would also not leave the room if we roomtrap her. Hepheastus could just walk past the equally disabled Athena and just put the inanimate lamp in his inventory or crush it depending on what he wants to do here.

We want to roomtrap Hephaestus at the last possible moment to buy as much time as possible.

Spips is, well, she's not sturdy. Heph could probably ge the key out easily.

As for the roomtrap plan, unless covering the guy with magnets will work he'll likely use his Athena remote, meaning we'll have a murderbird after us.

Abandoning my previous post and seconding this.

Also seconding the notion to roomtrap Heph afterwards and ask our patrons about the offer.

If we knowingly give the key to the highly suspicious Hephaestus unit and something happens to Eris because of it, I don't think Phonoi is going to let us off easy.
Quote
RE: [Fortuna]: 1/28 Key Got
I see no reason Hephaestus cannot hold the key. As far as we can tell, we both need to get into the room, and neither of us want anyone else to enter the room.
>Allow Hephaestus to hold the key. From our past interactions, he can't run, and refusing will most definitely mean a party wipe.

If we're going to roomtrap Heph, maybe we should preceed the roomtrap with the command

>Everyone: Try outrun Hepheastus and get the last crewmember out of the locked room.

That way our crew will be getting away from him in case we can't handle him.
