Scrawls, sketches, and chicken scratches - a doodle thread

Oh wow dang

that is pretty trippy and cool.

First thing I've made with my tablet that I feel really confident about!

It felt easy because the strong composition + design sort of suggested which colors to use

I drew an actual coherent thing, as opposed to an incoherent not a thing. In light of the creative block I seem to have been stuck in for the past few months, this is amazing progress.

Drawing is actually kind of fun? It's been ages since I've enjoyed doing this stuff.

(Also woad. Who doesn't love woad?)

I'm too lazy to post these correctly, but here (<-there) is a link to some new napkin doodles from work. Lots of neopets, some Pikmin, some melon, some Animal Crossing, and some limbless pupil-less Spongebob.

I wonder if I'll ever have my napkin privileges revoked.

I made some paintings a while ago and only scanned them just now. I don't think they are doodles, as they are paintings, but I don't really think they warrant their own thread.







for those of you who care they are all 100% acrylic on canvasboard.

I drew some sad eyes then I drew around the sad eyes.

She kind of looks like an Dialga I need to revamp her.

Apparently the only things I can draw consistently passably are Pokemon. These're Pokemon Tabletop discussion-spurned doodles, if anyone cares.

Every time you post I wish you'd go back to adventuring because I want to see your arts more often but I don't play neopets so I don't get the jokes

I sort of wish I'd get back to it too (I was browsing my photobucket yesterday and wow some of Deadbeat's panels are still cool somehow), but I don't want to disappoint anyone by starting up something again and falling flat on my face out of disinterest. :c
