i'm going to be trapped here, immortal, with no real obligations to do anything, until [strike]my dad kicks me out or we run out of money[/strike] someone else does something

there's no way i can get a job. people talk to me for 5 minutes and realize i'm neurodivergent. even if i got past the interview stage (hasn't happened yet) they'd realize i have adhd or something and that i can't pay enough attention to directions or what people are saying, while simultaneously absolutely needing clear directions to do anything

especially not the person who's pressuring me every day to apply to any job i can find, while simultaneously telling me to be picky, "you have time, your first job doesn't have to be retail/customer service, it'd look way better on your resume if you had a nicer job as your first job"
retail jobs don't even want me because they can tell i'm useless, what am i supposed to do i can't do anything i can't change anything

i've been slipping into a rut of not doing anything at all besides playing some videogames and weakly attempting to look for job openings but not actually applying
for like the past week? i can't keep track of the days at all

but it doesn't feel so bad this time and i don't know why. i've just kinda accepted it
i just have to not think about it very hard or else i remember why i'm supposed to feel terrible, and then i do

at some point, the present is going to unfreeze, and things will start changing. i'll be in the future, and i have no idea how to handle that.

today... the calendar says it's september 26. october is a few days away, and november a few days after that.

it was august last week. it was june two weeks ago. it was march three weeks ago.

i can't keep living in this state, but when things change, i won't be prepared.

which i am quickly slipping back into, now that my seasonal job is over
