this weekend was good and fun and social otherwise

My apartment is about five months overdue for a Deep Cleaning, but I've still been primarily living in a two metre square area that is my "nest" since September, because winter sucks and I'm a dysfunctional piece of shit who can't get things done unless someone else's potential displeasure is riding on it

I really wish my brain would go "no fuck this, I'm done, we'll pick this up tomorrow" around midnight, instead of limping its way through the small hours and making Actual Waking Working Hours even more impossible to concentrate on wordmake

Maybe I'd be more motivated to go to sleep if work wasn't forty minutes of Emotional Fulfilment and Professional Satisfaction (2 workdays out of 5, on average), 8 hours of furtive guilt at amusing myself at my desk

Things that'd be cool: my brain not having an inexpertly dissected and achronal sense of satisfaction at Getting Shit Done And Feeling Good About It

Also cool: things I do to myself that make me feel like shit (lack of sleep, sleeping on floor, unable to haul ass until 10 minutes before I need to leave, skipping meals, poor hygiene, untidy living environ, insufficient creative output, being antisocial, extended internal monologues about how much I hate things which are trivial and not worth my dwelling on them) feeding into other aforementioned courses of action for Bonus Shitfeel Multiplier
