OI: We are currently debating on whenever we should tell him the truth or lie. Nonetheless, we've been backed into a corner. Tell a lie, Derrick –which is being intentionally irrational by a part of him he had suppressed till recently– will call our bluff and everything goes to shit. Tell the truth, everything goes to shit anyways.
Daydream: This. Is. Your. FUCKING. FAULT.
Daydream: FIX IT. TELL ME A DECENT LIE.
OI: I'd like to say that the reason Derrick is acting, as you say, irrational, is because that part of him was let loose due to Alice's own lies and his frustration. He's, in the most basic term possible, furious.

Because we need to come up with something convincing, but if we have nothing that we know we can safely say without everything falling apart, it's safe to say that we are fucked.
