i'm not cursed and my total was far short of +4 because i wanted to load up on as many negatives as possible and die early

This is true... I believe your total only comes out to +2 as well

I would also like to issue a BIG EBWOP CORRECTION to my post where I claimed Solaris's role was only +2 - when I looked for "sun" in the doc it didn't come up as anything so I assumed it was plus +0 whereas since it was a word not on the list it costs +2 ("Custom words not listed below cost 2 Points.") so in the end they did have +4

Perhaps when it says "Remaining invalid submissions will be cursed to balance the point discrepancy" it only applies to role submissions that are OVER +4 points, which would make more sense actually...

Also, here are a few revelations I stumbled across while further evaluating roles and role points:

Notice how the role modifier "Spezier" is black in Pala's role:

whereas Spezi is actually PART of amos's role (blue)

so considering THIS post

I literally gained the ability to give people Spezi last night, so I don't think the guy who has been talking about it both days so far isn't involved.

it leads me to believe that all black role modifiers have been given by other players, and were not originally a part of the role submitted by them at game start as evidenced by Pala's induction into the Spezi-cult.

So if we take a look at Solaris's role...

the Deceiving Astrologer, aka the Cursed WIFOM HatedDayMillerCultist DesperadoSmith Sun

... that means Solaris was cursed and not the source of the curse themselves.... so the curser is still out there somewhere. But if that's true I think more than one cursed person would have died by now? Or not, maybe the curser is really good at predicting who's going to stay alive longer. Methinks now that Thalia might still be this source of the curse, considering that Solaris's role contains

Myeth's Garf nicknames actually appeared as black role modifiers on the people they were to assigned to! And then it hit me:

...oh god i shouldn't have given Dr. Liz her role.

So I read through the posts, and I think Dr. Liz is Sunspider. In which case, how did you give Sunspider a role?

At the beginning of our game, i gave a select few some minor roles. I can affect them, and some can affect me. You probably know a few by name. I gave Dr. Liz a special role. This could either benefit me, or give me quite a bit of trouble if what im seeing right now is true.

Dr. Liz. Myeth gave Sunspider a doctor role. Spoids's claims of protecting people might have actually been honest - but the fact that Myeth now regrets this move miiiight be then indicative that Spoids is not 100% friendly
