SpoilerALEX: Something... kind of weird happened, now that I think about it.
LUCI: Kind of... weird?
ALEX: Kind of sort of... weird. I don't know, it might not be that odd.
LUCI: You can't just say that it's weird and not tell the story.
ALEX: Well...

SpoilerALEX: From what I remember, it was a frigid, Winter night. The breeze would engulf pedestrians in a thousand frozen knives, carving straight through their clothes and into the bone. Streetlights flickered with an atmospheric neon glow. The sky overhead was a mixture of pitch and the moon's silent shine, blue and black blending like cream in coffee. Any normal person would not dare to tiptoe on the concrete. Of course, I wasn't a normal person.
ALEX: Ramen rations were dangerously low, and fearing for my safety, I immediately ventured into the streets to my local 24/7 convenience store. I donned my furred hood and a sweater, ready to face Jack Frost's wrath. Traversing through the darkness, I made my way to the haven, and purchased several cups of a young adult's sworn ambrosia, then made my way back to my house. My eyes were frozen, and as I stared down at the doorknob I had reached toward... I felt the urge to blink.

SpoilerALEX: Nothing was left. No furniture, no food. Not even the slightest bit of sawdust. Every single part of my house was gone. My mind went blank and filled with white noise not unlike the snow that had fallen the day before. And then I felt an overwhelming sense of loss. I walked up to the land that used to hold my house, and looked down at a single ticket on the ground. I bent down to pick it up.
ALEX: The ticket was a voucher for a hotel I hadn't heard of until then. "Gouache Luxury Apartments." All it had was an address and a singular message.

SpoilerALEX: I mean, not entirely.... I met y'both out of it.
IRIS: Aw, you're so sweet!
ALEX: I think the most traumatic thing about it though is the fucker stole my dog and cat. Though, if I were him, I'd steal pets too.
