Indeed, goats are well adapted to climb into argan trees. Learning to climb is another factor related to animals that explains the “aerial grazing”. The last factor behind the adaptation of goats to aerial grazing is the availability of herbaceous plant layer. Indeed, whenever herbaceous layer is lacking, goats are forced to climb into trees for aerial grazing.
