The robot attempts to touch a weird tree, but rapidly reconsiders.

The robot decides these trees are dangerous and decides to leaf.

After some time, the robot reaches the foot of the hill the large building was on and enters a forest of normal trees. It feels satisfaction at this.
In the distance it sees the houses, and heads for them.
