Bastion heads down to punch a ghost.
AC5: 1d20=7
Damage: 1d8+2+3-4=6
Gastly 6 gets punched for 6 damage.
Sturm Axed a ghost!
AC5: 1d20=18
Damage: 1d8+4+4+4-4=11
Gastly 8 gets axed for 11 damage, and faints!
Marc searches the nearest tree for berries
1d20=6
But there's nothing on it.
Tori starts scanning whatever is beyond the trees. Two turns.
Clifton heads down to the space where Bastion is, but Bastion is in the way. Bastion has an extra space to shift anyways so moves down one, kindly enough. Clifton then inserts a knife into a gaseous blob.

Gastly 6 takes 11 Knife type damage.

The Gastly is hit hard. Really, really hard. Before you know it, it's sort of dissolving into a fine mist.
Gastly 4 has Died.
This still nets everybody experience.
Okay, Bastion is kind of in the way, but that's okay, Riff is pretty sure she can Struggle Bug around him.

Nope. Bastion takes 11 damage!
The Gastly however.
Damage: (11-11)/4=1
If only those damages could be swapped around, eh?
...yeah.
Now as it so happens, Gastly * wasn't actually looking in Natalie's direction during that last thing, so it's still none the wiser. It did watch all the rigamarole with Gastly 6, though, and isn't particularly impressed with your battling, so decides you need his expertise.
It used Lick!

Damage: (1d6+3+6-4)*2=14
Gastly 6 fainted!
Gastly 7 woke up!
A Gabby used Confusion!
AC3: 12
It's Super Effective: (2d8+8-6)*2=26
Gastly 7 fainted!
Sleipnir is paralyzed!
Paralysis Check 6: 1d20= 19
Sleipnir used Ember!
AC3: 1d20=15
Damage: 1d12+6+9-6=18
The slimy thing took 18 damage, and promptly wakes up! It looks a bit miffed that you interrupted its slumber! The fireball probably didn't help, either.
It retaliated quickly with Poison Gas.
Sleipnir was Poisoned!
Hrothgar used Defense Curl! The usual happens.
Natalie and Molly each gain 272 EXP.
Hrothgar gains 648 EXP.
Everybody else gains 540 EXP.
