If the Lady wants Bina alive then Gregor knows he should not shoot her. Not in the CHEST, at least.
This is a thing that always bothers me about movies and TV shows; everyone seems to assume that you MUST obey a person who is threatening you with a gun. You don't have to. You could be like "NO, I am not going to walk with you to the end of the pier; you'll have to drag me. NO, I am not digging my own grave, you'll have to dig it yourself. NO, I am not going down in the cellar. If you're gonna shoot me, you'll have to do it here in your living room, and have fun cleaning up the mess. I won't help you dispose of my body." Don't co-operate with a person threatening to kill you. Why should you make it easy for them? You really need to make it as inconvenient as possible.
What other means of persuasion does Gregor have? Are there Naughts sneaking up while Bina is distracted, to grab her?
