Yep, it's a roof. Looks like it sports some sort of AIR CONDITIONING UNIT and a HELIPAD. There isn't a doorway on the rooftop as far as you can tell, though, so the HELIPAD seems rather useless.

SpoilerPerhaps this beautifully rendered image will help explain the current situation of characters.
Bob shot the GREEN-EYED MONSTER, which subsequently burned to the ground. Bob planted its remains, which sprouted to become a SAVAGE SAPLING that Bob befriended and named Nigel. After Nigel lost his FRIENDSHIP BLOSSOM, he became a FERAL NIGEL and changed his name to Wesley, vowing to destroy Bob. Wesley grew a DREAD BLOSSOM and a LURE BLOSSOM, both of which he improved with NOXIOUS MERCURY to create a D®EAD BLOSSOM and a POISONOUS TRICK BLOSSOM. Then he summoned Nigel's Thornberry to go and do his bidding. Nigel's Thornberry retrieved the SMALL PIECE OF RUBBLE from a rooftop, and is about to throw it down a DUCT.

You don't know anything about plans, but you distinctly recall declaring silently in your head that this rooftop was an ANIMAL FREE ZONE, and that little brown insect is in DIRECT VIOLATION OF ROOFTOP LAW. You heft your trusty RUBBLE and move to attack!
The insect flees.

Success!
You have removed the GREEN BUTTON COVER, revealing a GREEN LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE.

Success! Rubble has slain the DIODE, crushing its EPOXY LENS. It ceases to perversely spew its vile, efficient LIGHT into your domain.
Superfrequency Wrote:>Attempt to wear the button cover as a hat. You try to don the GREEN BUTTON COVER as a dapper hat.
Damn this PROBLEMATIC STEM!
Superfrequency Wrote:>Failing that, attempt to make the rubble wear it as a hat Ah, there we go.
Rubble looks quite fetching in the new GREEN FEZ.
Genesis Monk Wrote:Insert Appendage into Diode in an attempt to discover whether or not it is electrically charged. Now that you've slain the dangerous DIODE, you decide to loot its miserable corpse, sticking your THORN into its socket.
Nope, nothing but 3 measly volts, if that. What a rip off.
Wesley Foxx Wrote:>Ingest LED.

THIS IS THE BEST SOLUTION EVER. You come up with a BRILLIANT PLAN. Alas, you have no means of igniting the LED. And besides, it's been sort of broken into teensy-tiny pieces.
