Oh hey, moon! Wouldn't it be cool if the moon was an octagon? Someone should write a song about that.

You idly strum and play your GUITAR, setting a baseline for... something. Something that sounds cool, at least.

You try to think of a way to go on a monologue about unrecognized band names, but your mind isn't quite all the way there yet, being stuck in a weird fissure between foodstuffs and octagons. It's much easier to stay on track when you have SOMEONE ELSE alongside you to help reinforce what you're putting down, y'know? The special stuff comes when guys work together.

either way, you're interrupted by a DRONE-like buzzing noise next to your window

you lay your BEDSHEETS in front of the window to make a safe landing spot for the DRONE

which it promptly ignores

You manage to bean it with your PILLOW and send it to the ground.

It depends on the model. Some of them fly in, drop the PACKAGE, and leave. It looks like this is one of those ones that keeps the box in a compartment inside itself, so you gotta open it up.

These ones tend to scan your face, or have a button to press that'll give you access why is there still buzzing

groceries? you're not expecting to get those yet, it'll still be some time before those get here

plus this thing looks nothing like the DRONE that delivers the groceries

You pluck a string on your GUITAR and match the frequency of the strange DRONE in front of you. A tap of one of the buttons on the SYNTHESIZER MODULE offsets the signal and cancels out the robotic buzzing.

You turn around and quickly shut the WINDOW. You're not letting this thing get away so easily!

he's a wily fella

you might be able to snatch the DRONE out from under it, or maybe knock it to the ground with your GUITAR.

You're not touching those wings, they look like they're made out of HARD-LIGHT.

HARD-LIGHT is one of those futuristic things that has been starting to show up. Imagine a hologram, but solid and also trying to punch you. So far, HARD-LIGHT has been used for signs and stuff that's normally too high up for anyone to get their hands on (as well as wicked light shows. Again, imagine a rave, but it can punch you). You never know when a glob of HARD-LIGHT will change its shape and knock you on your ass. The HARD-LIGHT STRINGS on your GUITAR are stable enough for you to pluck them, but you've learned not to mess with anything else it can do.

oh that's right your guitar can also do this
