Okay, so I already kinda touched on this earlier today, but at this point I feel like if all of my current hard townreads are accurate, (Jac, Sol, Pilot, Granola, Lordly) then the scumteam has likely already reached the depression/acceptance stages of grief by now. The fact that we have only 15 hours left in the day and FOUR players from the unconfirmed list still have yet to do anything at all today is making me more and more confident that this is the case. (Looking at you Schazer, Slorange, Laser, and Beruru.)

And then naturally Beruru would start posting as I was writing this and instantly make my whole thing out of date.

Alright, so, Schazer.

Schazer's already shown up multiple times in the who's online section at the bottom of the site in just the last few hours, so I'm less inclined with them then the others to believe that they're just absentee as opposed to actively hiding. I'm officially over sitting around all day and waiting for the lurkers to post. Schazer and Slorange either need to fullclaim exactly why they believe each other is town today or eat lynch.

Beruru, what's your opinion of Pilot getting on the Airey lynch early? Was he just bussing super hard or what?

Also I can buy Solaris as a top 3P candidate if there is another one, but how sure are you that there actually is an SK, or that the Siren is the SK? I mean it's possible that both mafia and SK decided to shoot Sai last night, or that there's an unaccounted for kill block, but one-shot vig seems like a real weird claim to make completely unprompted as a malevolent 3rd party.

i only count bussing as bussing if you actually intend your target to die.
i think pilot was waiting for airey to save himself but then airey dropped his spaghet all over the thread instead, so he got stuck.

last time i was here, everyone was like "ooooo the siren is a sk", so i'm like, ok, i guess the siren is a sk. because i feel like if the siren was NOT a sk, they would try and like, not let thread believe that they're a direct threat to town? but not in a claim way?

like, there were 2 shots n1, and 2 shots n2, and no shots last night.

who was the other shot n1. where it come from. it shot a wolf???? who did that. like even if solaris is town, it's still........ an extra shot. where it go. in that world it wasn't a wolf vig because they shot a wolf, it's not a town vig because we have a 1shot night vig (solaris) and a 1shot day vig (granola), so it's still got to be a third party. who was phone.

i think the likeliest explanation is that it is solaris, but that's just me i guess.

also if solaris believed that airey was a wolf she claims the shot for towncred? and is then comfortable enough saying that the other shots are the sk who is definitely not them uwu.

if beruru is actually another town visitor then i guess towns information role is a watcher who has no useful results lmao? which kinda makes sense. beruru's role also makes sense as a town thing, but who knows

my concern with the schazer lynch is less about schazer honestly and more about whatever sloranges deal is here, but if neither of them is going to chirp in then it probably doesn't matter

re: siren town or clown

i do think that given that legendary q HAD to kill someone if they didn't kill the siren, they could have been the Anti-Town Third Party where the Siren is the 3p and HAS to kill someone after Q died?

But also i could see that the compensation for playing serial killer who has to deal with someone hunting for them is that you have a mason which makes sense because that would be a Siren Thing

i feel like the siren ate pharms and turned into pharms 2 is nonsensical but possible, maybe as a like "q is dead so i can unleash my true power now" but given the relative normalcy of most other roles in the game it feels weird to have these two extremely wildly over-complicated third parties among a slew of one shot/two shot/on deaths

I need to stop making activity level promises I can’t keep lol...I ended up sleeping jetlaggedly for most of yesterday. I’m not surprised by the beru stuff, I kinda suspected a b-z bear. unfortunately I think Schazer is in the same position, although given that Schaz could at least drop trou I’m more ok with the lynch. Pala is correct that slorange is the one who claimed mechanical clear stuff first, but that might have just been bc Schazer was the one to get pressured first

I do feel sorry for Niall, it’s annoying to go to the trouble of reading a whole game and then get told you’re gonna be lynched as a checkmark in a checkbox. I still feel mixed about him but I don’t think the annoyance is scummy, town or scum would be peeved to be in that sitch

Well, glad to get a response there at least. I'm having mixed reactions on the content, but let's go here.

I'm still really curious to see this game's setup in the postgame. Because we have so far had...

a confirmed 3p with a kill (LegendaryQ)
a player with a day kill that killed scum (Granolaman)
a night kill who killed scum (the “soul drain” night 1 that hit pharmacy and we assume was “the siren”)
a night kill who attacked scum (airey losing bulletproof, which solaris claimed).

That's a lot of death from players who aren't on the main scum team (barring shenanigans). And every kill that DID go off hit scum.

It's kinda funny that we've killed 2 of the (presumed 4, maybe 5?) scum despite missing them with the lynch itself 3 times. It's part of why that amnesiac turned scum theory keeps sticking with me, because things can't REALLY be going that well. And if there IS a serial killer, then apparently they haven't gotten a successful kill since night 1 (unless solaris is bluffing, but that would be a hell of a risk for solaris)

I'll be honest, I wasn't super sold on the NTA vote, though their reaction at the end of the day did them no favors in my book. I only held off because I was hoping that if they had the time for the angry outburst post they might have time to answer a few of my questions, but we can't always get what we wanted.

Beru would pick me and slorange as town over solaris and lordly, the semi-clears? Interesting. Granted, we only have their word on their claims, but Solaris' claim in particular is hard to argue with when there's no counterclaim for an attack that must have happened and hit scum.

I distinctly did NOT receive a boot, for what it's worth.

I'm actually kinda not thrilled that people started cancelling votes for Beru and voting for Schazer before beru even spoke up? Like, Beru's being at softlynch was gone before their arrival to answer some questions? I guess since they did show up and answer some things it worked out, but eh. The fact that we have multiple people who still haven't posted today (slorange, RL) and schazer who was incredibly superficial and disappeared is worrying. I never want to trust the idea of scum giving up and rolling over. But if all of the semi-clears are in fact town, we don't exactly have a lot of possibilities left.

But um. Schazer. Yeah. I guess this is happening today. So if you're available to answer some questions as well, I wouldn't mind getting a few things on record from you, at the very least.

1) You've been kinda distant in the game, not really posting much or analyzing things, and staying out of major discussions for most of the game. Many of your comments are like the one to start off today, completely superficial. Why?

2) You've and SleepingOrange have both claimed that the other are town. Are you able or willing to explain or elaborate on this? Do you have any other information to share?

3) On day 2, you voted for acionyx (in my slot) with basically no reason given, and prodded others (including those he was arguing with) to do so as well. Is there a reason you wanted this player slot dead, and if so, can you explain it now? Do you still want me dead?

4) IIRC SleepingOrange claimed that you were town, but also said that if one of the two of you were to be lynched they'd prefer it be you. Do you feel the same? If one of you and sleepingOrange had to be lynched today, which would you pick?

5) What are your strongest town and scum reads at this point?

6) Do you think that LegendaryQ was the game's only third party? What do you suspect are the numbers at this point for the scum team and any surviving 3Ps?

7) tehPilot seems to have some people thinking they're a top scum candidate and others thinking they're a top town candidate. What's your opinion?

Ok guys I'm gonna fess up I have been heck of busy the last couple of weeks due to this being my final week of section/practical training in school for teacher's college. I've had time to follow the thread but no actual energy to be reading+analyzing.

I understand 6 hours is probably not enough time to turn a lynch around but today is mercifully my least busy day on section so I'm gonna give it a go without going full ham on pants removal.

It's actually 90 minutes so at this point it's basically you or nobody

I'll be around until deadline just in case Schazer can convince me that they're town and try to swing to the lynch onto Bears instead.

But why are you so opposed to just full-claiming though? You and Slorange have been throwing around words like "mechanically clear" and "confirmed town" about each other. What's the point in being bashful about your pantslessness now?

I was hoping all the speculation that we might be lovers would bait a kill but apparently scum's banking on this very situation?

I do not believe Bear is a good lynch as their claim mostly holds true except for the part maybe where they can't control who they visit.

Oh, and I've been warned that on flip I'll only come up as a mason, not one who was modconfirmed to be town to my partner.

The only Hot Take I can offer if I don't have time for a re-read is the following:

One of beruru or tehpilot is withholding info about their visiting role.

It is my preference, and Slorange's, that his character survives until endgame, purely for flavor/lore reasons.

I don't want to be mean Schazer especially bc I know you definitely actually very much have been busy but like scum is 100% correct to be banking on this situation and you're never going to bait a kill if neither of you are posting in the thread or making any attempt to bait scum at all
Your story is consistent with Slorange's but like, it's too late to make me want to unvote, because it still isn't consistent at all with how you have actually played the game, and "oh and btw my flip won't confirm what I just said" is like, not a reassuring thing to say by any means

Uuuuuh what else. Jac and Lordly look atrocious on this lynch of mine. Solaris trying to muddy the waters of my essentially very simple role is also not great as is their constant reminding us of the Siren.

A jac, Niall, or Solaris lynch would be my preferred lynches today. Given time constraints I understand those will not be happening and would prefer a no lynch today.
