N3 I got a fat stack of oranges, then last night I devoured all of them in a "well I'm gonna die anyway" fit of pique

I did at least receive indication of my antidote-receipt after the orange-eating, so hopefully if any of them were poisoned I'm probably in the clear.

Tbqh though it seems I'd be better off dying anyway seeing as a lot of folks seem to be confusing me for scum!

Schazer, I think that Pog++ is from me. I targeted Seedy N3 and got Vigilante, but Pharmacy claims to have bussed you and Seedy N3.

WHY DID PEOPLE GLAZE OVER MY COMBINATOR POSTING THIS IS LIKE THE FIFTH TIME IN-THREAD ;-;

Who opened their present before D1 finished? Who's yet to open theirs?

I opened mine start of D1 and I'm sitting on an item that's useless unless friendly people want to give me their items, so that's fun.

or if roles give me their items? I don't know if we can actually just hand each other items. Might be worth testing, assuming someone find someone they trust

Mirdini got a recipe book, I got a recipe book. I don't know where they came from, but that's more or less a logical conclusion to reach based on the meta implications of a game full of items. And the logical implication of how guns normally work. xD

@pharms: I mean, I'll take any items people want to throw at me and then I can see what combining things does and report back to thread (and presumably have that be confirm-able because of the database).

as for said combining results, as the combinator database entry suggests I get to have one successful combination per day cycle, and here's how I used them:

D1: Nothing, because I had no other items.

D2: Nothing, because I had no other items.

D3: I attempted to combine my TELESCOPE with the TOILET PAPER TUBE pharms gave me, but the items did not combine successfully (meaning essentially nothing happened, I got the items back and the combinator was still active but since I had no other items to combine, no combination that day).

D4: I combined my TINFOIL with my FEDORA to make a TINFOIL HAT, which honestly reading the description and knowing that the BONE is also a joke item I'm pretty convinced is a joke item to make people paranoid about a role-stealing role that doesn't actually exist.

D5: I thought I had so far not managed to combine a thing successfully but on checking my QT to write this list up it turns out I have COMBINED A THING WITH A THING that I will reveal when the item actually gets entered into the database (or before dayend, whichever comes first). Apparently it was such an obvious combination yet it hadn't been foreseen by the mod so it has been "bugfixed" into the game. I also don't exactly know what it does yet but I have a Pretty Good Idea and It Is Most Likely Spicy.

and it's ok Reyweld, game gets to everyone sometimes (including me), also your post definitely didn't come across as blowing up by mafia game standards, more just general posting weariness. Should also note that I also have a POG++ that I got during Night 3 (so I assume it was Schaz's? Which makes me believe them even more).

Glad to see Spoids back, and that uh sure is an accusation to make. Dual roles definitely do exist but dual night-action roles seem Pretty Wild even for this game, but then again maybe Pharms is just holding the poison for someone else? Or she's a MURDER BUSDRIVER.

It's ok! Your frustration was a little uncharacteristic yeah but mafia games can be stressful. You're doing great but: Uuuuuh N3 I didn't receive a pog++?

I had 1 pog++ going into N3, shot Mirdini, who would've received said Pog++ N3 unless my gun was redirected (Deens plz confirm number of pog++ rececived N3?)

My end of N3 results come in and I've received 0 Pogs.

N4 I received a pog++, which I believe Seedy said was not their doing. Somebody else targeted me last night.

also slightly off-topic interlude: as much as I hate ~the meta~ ngl part of the reason I'm stressing my role/roleblocker thing so much re: my innocence is because I know full well that me being super active and town-lead-y is in no way a town tell for me, as much as Schazer wants to believe otherwise :P

I (at least try?) to do the exact same thing as scum as I do as town especially on later days so I *can* kind of understand where wheat/Palamedes' inherent suspicion of me is coming from

that doesn't mean that their consistent misinterpretation of what's going on with me mechanically is any less exasperating/didn't drive me to want to lynch Pala for a bit (combined w/ not realizing stuff re: item cop), but welp

also role clarification has been posted in my QT: people are not explicitly informed that they've been roleblocked by me (or any of the other roleblockers during Night One, presumably). Only way to know if I roleblocked you was apparently by a lack of results/items that you were trying to give away not leaving your inventory/not being able to use items a la Seedy not sending her Pog++ to me N2.

There's not much to respond to in seedy's vote. All they said is "is off." I guess: nuh uh? More like "is on."

Here's my naughty/nice list:

NICE
Wheat - Cleared by investigation and flips.
Mirdini - Did some real good scum hunting. No reason to assume others would pick up on Reyweld's mistake.
seedy - Claimed Mason D1. Weird thing to do if not town.
Pharmacy - Busdriver, I previously explained why I think busdriver is town.
Robust Laser - Seems generally trustworthy, stated results line up with what appear to be The Facts.
Schazer - I don't know why you'd mason a maf to a doctor.
Palamedes - Truthfully fingered CB, but by doing saved CSJ for a day. Possible that mafia thought having a thief was more important than a roleblocker. Mainly so low on the list because they're still being real cagey about how they knew CB was maf.
Sunspider - Wild claims about Pharmacy. Don't buy it. Trying to redirect attention from better targets.
nercania-orccelga - Been spish this whole time. Won't listen to reason about wheat.
Reyweld - Investigates the doctor right before they get maffed? CSJ knew their Schazer results? Bad news bears.

I’ve definitely got n-o on my shortlist for murder wheat, but I want to see what the result of the Pharmacy-sunspider stuff is bc if Pharmacy *is* a scum deathbus she’d be a pretty important lynch for a number of reasons

also Sunspider it wasn’t super clear - did you see multiple poisons in Pharmacy’s inventory, or just one?

wheat you can’t threaten us into voting for n-o...over players who have hardly been better than them. although if n-o was lying a can choose targets and IS the candyman it would sorta check out that they’ve been targettihg wheat...but that could be true for scum or town n-o and...n-o is scummy but unless there are 4 mafia left I don’t see it

hmm, I guess I’m leaning town on pharmacy, she is mostly confirmed (by Reyweld) to have bussed me and schaz and bussing 2 townies (neither of whom were likely targets for vigs) doesn’t make much sense for mafia to do (it doesn’t make much sense for town either, but scum usually gets guidance from other teammates. then again if it really is the team I think it is, maybe they just let pharms Do Whatever one night??? ah, wine)

This is clearly a joke. Besides, what power that the player has no influence over (if we think N-o is telling the truth about that) would help a jester?

I'd also like to note that we have only 2 days left and there isn't enough votes for a soft lynch.

Of the surprising number of people roleblocked, I am not. I intend to investigate someone who hasn't claimed yet or Robust Laser. Investigating Pharmacy or Mirdini would be pointless, as I don't learn alignment and both roles they claimed could be town or scum.

anyways sometimes when you do a jokey bit that makes your posts hard to parse it gets harder to rhetorically convince people this isn’t rocket science. leading people on a lynch isn’t just something you get to do as long as your target has been generally scummy enough it takes effort
especially when there are lots of other people who are equally legitimate and in some cases even better choices and the people who are advocating for thise lynches are making posts that are uh easy to understand at a glance
it’s not secret scum bias at work here

Maybe one of the dudes I redirection'd has an attractor role thing? I feel deja vu bc I'm pretty sure this question is answered.

day 2: csj/a52. at the time, I thought a52 was a redirector? I honestly chose'em cuz I wanted to see what happened if a redirector did a redirection.
day 3: seedy/schazer. god! I forgot! it probably is why I switched two towns lmao.
day 4: reyweld/mirdini. I thought mirdini was scum and reyweld was mean.
