SpoilerHey kids! It's summer! You know what that means! Another adventure! Honestly, this is more of a self-pleasure project. I don't really want it to be too detailed, maybe a bit with the plot, but I feel like if I try too hard with the art it'll turn into work again. So prepare for potentially badly drawn pictures!
Yeah this is low key about my depression. I've been having a hard time living, so I'm trying to make myself a reason to live. I hope you like my depressed furries. I'm looking at you Night in the Woods fans.
==>
Whenever I look up, I see it.
==>
That bright light amidst the inky black surrounding me. It's like it's taunting me. It's so far away, like a star, or maybe an unachievable goal.
And yet...
==>
I still reach forward, like a newborn clutching at its mother. I know it's far away. I know I can't get it. It just makes me want it more. Sometimes, I feel like it's closer, as if I can almost grasp it in my hand and keep it for myself.
==>
But then, like clockwork, everything ends. My connection is lost. I can't see anymore. I can't hear anymore. I'm no longer... here. And like that...
> Wake up.
I'm awake.

Fuji: So, how exactly was your night out with the boys?
???: Honestly? I don't fucking remember.
Fuji: Are you that hung over? Gasp! Could it be you don't remember your name either?

I don't know why, but Everest really just fits. (also this reminds me of Oneshot for some reason)

SpoilerFuji: Here's the coffee I made you. Enjoy!
==>
I stare down at the coffee with my signature blank look.My head hurts like hell. It feels like I was hit by ten whole trains last night. Considering how bad of a black out drunk I am, I wouldn’t be surprised if I had been hit by several trains.
==>
Finally, after a moment's hesitation, I chug down the coffee in the blink of an eye like it's God's ichor.

SpoilerEverest: Anyways, I think I sort of remember now. From what I remember, Kila dragged me and Trimor to Altschwerts with a pack of beer and we just went insane.

Test Test, One Two Three!
Hello, hello! My name is Cantatrice and I’m bringing YOU your regularly scheduled tragic story! Well, perhaps tragic, perhaps not. It all depends on you, dear listener!
> ???
Why does this story depend on you? Well, let’s just say this story is not fully written yet. Not fully stitched together. I’m not lazy, it’s more like it’d be a sin to force these beautiful creatures to go through what I’d like them to! Hahaha!
As you heard, this story is about a depressed cat. Kind of generic right? I’ve heard of many stories about cats that are depressed. But perhaps there’s something more to it. I’d shed some light on the situation, but spoilers are spoilers.
But our story starts off with a bang, and some beer! My question to you is, what exactly happened on that night? Did our dear Everest indeed get hit by several trains? Or did she just have a normal night out with her friends with no eldritch horror involved?
> ???
Not to put any pressure on you, but the ending of Everest’s story depends on you. You need to guide her through this tale and lead her to a fate that won’t end in her hopes drowning.
I have to go for now! I’m excited to see what kind of story you all spin for me...

SpoilerLmao remember when I said the story would be normal and not depressing and fun. I lied.
Anyways prepare for themes of suicide, depression, uhh, body horror, death, child abuse, etc. I really want to make it clear that this is probably going to be heavy as heck. It has to do a lot with my life, and that hasn't necessarily been the best. Like... this story is a mixture of Night in the Woods, Oneshot, and Endroll. I won't immediately get to the gritty stuff, but it will happen. I just hope I don't drop this since it's sort of a big deal for me.
Also, I made a music thing for this chapter! https://soundcloud.com/mismatch-60906434...h-the-boys

Altschwerts, that dingy place in the middle of nowhere? I guess the seasonal festival there must have been special this time around.

I edited it! Sorry, there was some issues with the formatting? I don't know why.
