Aiu, Called to all the vanar and said

"come to me my vanar, and let us sing a new world into existance"

the vanar all came to the throne of Aiu

Aiu instructed them to sing, in there own way, the melody of the theme Aiu had set forth.

Each vanar sung there own version of the melody

like before, others changed and clashed with the melody

and again, the chaos was taken into the melody, so it would have its part, in the theme.

Aiu was glad and took the music, absorbing the music within Aiu's body

Thus Aiu showed them the instrument of their music, above Aiu was a vision of the world, in which their music created.

What do they see?

(I will at the best of my abilities to paint something you suggest. It can be anything, people, creatures, forests, goatse mountain, phallic birds, butt bee's, go wild. ill do it in black and white unless you tell me the colour of the thing you are describing)

"oh no! not humans again! Who sung that?" heard in the void "who said it was human?" anouther voice said "well you know if it isnt broke.." "shut up this is the is a trillionth time! and every time the humans make everything depressing and ruin the hell out of the world"

Then Aiu spoke "If the vision displeases you, you can amend it, you have the power, which I have given you to do so. However hold your displeasure until the music you have created relieves all to completion"

The Vanar fell silent again and watched the vision, waiting for the next image to appear.

out of the void came a fluttering, sqeeking sound. A creature of bright crimson appeared from the darkness and fluttered around the blue figure.

"thats a cute creature.... why is it on fire?"

"why not a flaming flutter thing?"

"wont burn its self out?"

"shhhhh quiet"

The vanar wait patiently for the next thing to appear or happen

"hope something happens soon" one of the vanar moaned

This time a tall, moon white figure appears from the void, it ethereally moves into the vision. It had a strange crescent harp for a head!

"oh look! that figure has a harp for a head" a vanar said

"got some curves on it too! I say a female" another peeped

"but we got three things in this vision but nothing of a world has been shown!" an vanar said frustratingly

Aiu then said "patience, for what you see is only the beginning, a world will be created for all to see"

The Vanar watch and wait even more

the moon white figure then slowly knelt to her knees, lowered its head and played her silvery harp strings. she plucked a soothing and elegant note, which all the vanar listened with delight.

Some vanar swayed with the music, played by moon white maiden.

even the small blue figure and the fluttering creature, where enchanted by the music.

The vanar where joyous of the music but still they waited for the world to be, to see a glimmer of what kind of world their music had created.

The harp maiden played on as the vanar listened, while waiting for the new world to emerge

A world needs a beating heart.

All of a sudden the blue sphere on a line, burst into a pulsing orb of fire, which startled the small blue figure and the crimson creature.

but the harp maiden played on regardless

The beating flame slowly developed a strange marble crust around it and grew.
small cracks of flame appeared then disappeared as the crust sealed it self

The marble sphere grew with the sound of beating coming from it.
Cracks appeared again but this time the surface between cracks started to move into the other cracks.
From the cracks, a brown patch started to grow around the sphere

Then the void became not void. Stars appeared all around the small blue figure and filled the void. Thus the worlds that, Aiu and the vanar had created, was part of the void.

Then something very odd happened. As the sphere grew, a small cube object was seen, rolling slowly around the sphere, Compounding the brown, still grow patches as it traveled.

the vanar spoke

"well thats interesting, that little cube is stamping the soil down and creating square impressions as it moves"

"Did someone sing that in out of laziness? Are we not going to shape the land this time?" a vanar asked inquiringly

"Its not laziness! Its time saving! I dont want to muck around again for a millennium, just to make a dumb mountain, when I can spend time making a awesome mountain" a vanar said

"pah! fair enough"

The earthy sphere lowered down.
curiously the small blue figure approached the sphere and held it.
From its hands a ocean spilled forth and covered the sphere completely.
A endless sea covered the sphere.
out of shock the blue figure let go of the sphere, causing it to fall...

The world is carried on the back of a bee.

The bee has a large butt.

"Who sung that in!?!?" one of the vanar said angrily "Are you kidding me, with this bee?"

"What? You wanted a turtle with a big butt?" quipped a vanar

"No, that would cause parallel universe confliction" said another vanar "I do not want to argue into the cosmos, why it should be "bee" there ether"

"Isn't this technically causing a confliction with a ixie?"

The cube continues on, rolling half way submerged in the ocean.
As it rolls, huge waves forms around it, spreading around the globe, clashing with each other.

Then a buzzing sound came from the darkness. a firefly appeared

"oh look its a b" the vanar was cut off as a loud screech came from the crimson creature!

The creature began chasing the firefly!

"hmm should of seen that coming" said one of the vanar

from the planet, there is two suns in the sky, the smaller one orbits the big one

"Ah so much work!" moan a vanar "I didnt think to make another terra cube"

The harp maiden stops playing and stood up. cupping her hands to her mouth, she blew and a pearl sphere came into existence. The harp maiden then placed this pearl in orbit around the world, thus becoming the moon.

The world began to turn

The bee with a big butt, then started flying in orbit around the crimson creature and fire fly, who are now the suns.

The suns bringing warmth, evaporating the sea and producing clouds.
Land of volcanic rock began to rise up from the sea creating a small land mass.
Lichen and moss then grew and died repeatedly on the rock which turned into soil.
Grass emerged from the soil and then saplings followed.
Brushes and trees grew from those saplings and blossomed

"Wait! We are not making the plants by hand too?" said a vanar

"This seems very shake and bake with sprinkles of laziness" said another vanar

"Time saving!" quickly said a vanar

Then out of the ground, came a being, short and thin with sticky arms and legs that ends in points. It has no head but one eye in its chest, it has no mouth to speak or scream.

It knows itself as a NED but wishes to call itself something else. Not that there IS anyway he could tell anyone it or anyone to tell it to

When NED closes its eyes it can see and feel the cube. NED has control over the Terraform cube. Like its part of NED

The Vanar then spoke in concern

"What? A living creature? Its too early I say! Too early for it to come into the world!"

"The poor thing will perish! We haven't even gone down into the world yet and setup a eco system! How will it survive with out the fruits I make?"

"or the animals and forest I devise?"

"The seasons I plan"

"Birth, Growth, Offspring, Death cycles"

"I would not worry too much about it. It has no need to partake in sustenance. It doesn't even have a mouth. Nor does it live or breath like the people of the world to come"

"So what purpose does it have?"

"Well it does have control over the cube, which IS the instrument of creation of that world. It can create all those things you all worry about"

"Utter laziness!"

"Time saving!"

A big can of eternal beans.

Screaming through the cosmos came a object of fire, directly approaching the world. breaking through the atmosphere and impacting on the land mass making a small creator.

A Rainbow can of beans lay bedded in the earth.

"I didnt sing that!" said a vanar

"Must of come from the other planets!"

"That shouldn't be possible! Nothing can interfere or be part of the world while its being created, someone must of sung it"

All the vanar went quiet

Then Aiu spoke "It is true, a vanar did sing it into being, I know who but shall not say, in the end, it will be part of this world to its completion.

(phew im tired! nap time)

NED felt it had a propose and knew he had to... think about something...
NED closed its eye and for a time, NED thought of something.
It wasn't something NED had intentionally thought up.
It was there, in his mind and NED had no idea what it is or what it does.
But NED needed to think of it. Think of it and bring it forth into the world.
Then the thought disappeared! NED's mind was blank

Ned then opened its eye and was confused.... what was NED thinking of?

Suddenly a giant egg with lewd legs popped out of the hole.

Launching poor NED into the air and landing somewhere

"This is getting bizarre! an egg? with legs!" said one of the Vanar

"Is it an egg with legs or a creature that hasn't completely hatched from the egg?" a Vanar pondered

"But how can there be an egg, when there is no creatures that can lay it"

"Well the creature that lays the egg, is in the egg" replied a Vanar

"That doesn't make sense! We haven't gone down to the world yet to make the creatures that can lay eggs... or the egg that hatches the creature that lay the eggs"

"we never got around to agreeing what should come first..." said a Vanar sadly

"Didn't someone say, that little being, can make life and all that we desire with the cube?"

Then a Vanar said proudly "I sung something to make all our desires and designs, like the worlds before, into existence in this world, without having to go down into it and do it our selves"
"it simply has thoughts I instructed it to think, and the cube makes it so" The vanar said smugly

"so you instruct it to make an egg with legs?"

"No, that er... wasn't part of the instructions. That's very odd.."

"Wait that thing bought that egg into existence? It had instructions to make or do something, but It didn't know how to make it. So it made that egg for... whatever the purpose was"
"So its making, what it thinks what you want it to make, not knowing what it is, what it does or what it looks like..."

"Oh.... I didn't think about that" said the Vanar worryingly

Laughed Aiu and said "None the less, it will be interesting to see, what the oddities it brings"

The strange egg began to dance around little NED, singing
"Big~legs booty!, booty! booty! booty!, hot~legs booty!, come a long you cuties"

As the giant egg sang and danced, the trees and bushes bore strange fruits

Flowers grew and bloomed around the egg

Then animals appeared from nowhere. Deer's, snakes, rabbits, lion, tigers and other strange animals all came into existence.

"Well that takes care of the eco system I guess...." said one of the vanar

Give the egg some fishnet leggings, and some pink heels to match. The egg was so #lit , rain emerges to cool that shit down.

NED laid amoung the flowers around him, face down in the grass.
Unfortunately NED could not smell the pleasant Perfume of the flora he laid among.

The landing had not hurt him, NED does not feel pain or had any bones to break.
Tho the blades of grass in his eye did feel uncomfortable

What NED could sense is hearing the odd egg singing.
NED felt the slight tremors of it dancing close by.

Suddenly NED had another strange thought, familiar to the last one, yet different

NED then heard a panicked "BHAAWWWKK????" then a loud Thud and a wet crack.

He then heard a loud boom that echoed over head, he then felt little taps on his body. cold and wet. The taps then grew more frequent and heavy.
It was raining!

NED pushed itself up and looked around.

NED saw all the flowers swaying as the rain droplets hit.

NED then looked in the direction where the singing used to be, NED saw the egg with legs now laying prone on the ground wearing some spiked thing on its feet and a net of sorts around its legs.

The shell was Broken and yellow goo seeped out from the cracks

"Oh thats a shame" said one of the vanar

"Well it served its purpose I guess, also the terra cube has finished its land shaping" The vanar then pointed out to the Cube, which is now stationary surrounded by mountains.

"This world is now ready for inhabitants! Aiu, shall we descend into the world and create its people?" said a vanar

then another vanar said "what about the power of the cube and that creature's control over it?"

"Has it not finished? What more is there for it to do?"

"Create the people of the world vanar" said Aiu

All the vanar moaned in disbelief

Ned looks like they could use a bit of normalcy in this world.
Cracks knuckles
Let's start with a nice simple plant. Not a vague "Tree" or "Bush" but a specific plant.
The Inkfruit Tree

The tree itself is a hardy plant, with thick bark and roots going deep beneath soil.
It's fruit however is far more fascinating, being highly nutritious; with different trees never having the exact same color of fruit. The exact nutrition value and color depend on where the tree has taken root, but almost always is safe to eat. The juice of the fruit has interesting properties as well, naturally being suitable for drawing, painting, and writing. However, those are only its most mundane functions.
If, instead, you were to drink the juice, it would have an unusual side effect. What exactly the side effect will be is harder to place, but generally the more hospitable the environment the safer and more mundane the effect. Likewise, a tree located somewhere entirely unfit for life would be incredibly dangerous, but the benefits may be worth it.
But perhaps the greatest contribution to the world is that when the juice is poured on plants, it creates a new strain of plant with properties related to the juice.
But you ask, "What about using them when making magic scrolls?" Mind, nobody can actually use magic scrolls yet, much less know what to do with them or how to make them, but they do work. They won't do anything special to the scroll though.
The trees rarely flower, but the pollen is hardy enough to last for years, letting the breeze carry it between trees.

Now a tree like that is nice, but it could use a predator. Hm.
Woodbores

Woodbores are fluffy, yet stupid critters that subsist off eating bark.
They aren't terribly bright, and lack a sense of self preservation in regards to anything but the most blatant threats.
Generally harmless in small numbers, large groups of Woodbore can be devastating to orchards, eating all the bark and leaving the trees unprotected from the environment.
Mind, keeping them out is as simple as building a rock fence, but it could happen.
The smartest thing the Woodbore has been known to do is leave its young near a tree with plenty of bark, before wandering off and forgetting it ever had young in the first place.
Appearance wise, they resemble clawless moles with many small hardened tendrils around the mouth suitable for picking away at bark for eating.

But the trees don't really have anything to protect them. Hm...

Resembling stumps and small logs with short limbs; the Stumpkin live in forests and naturally gather around Inkfruit trees to build their homes from fallen twigs, leaves, and other debris laying around the forest.
They aren't very dangerous on their own, but know how to make loud rattles to shoo away Woodbores and intimidate possible threats.
Their close ties to the forest lend them a smattering of nature magic, that grows stronger with age.
They are sentient, but are particularly focused on managing the forest.

One more to round it off.

???* resemble Ned**, but smaller, coming up to Ned's kneecaps when full grown.
Unlike Ned, these critters have both a need for food and water and the ability to actually eat/drink using a mouth below their eye.
They can communicate vocally, and have an innate ability to understand and communicate with Ned.
They have a small spark of life magic, just enough to patch up small wounds without training, and nurture both vegetation and young.
Their natural color is similar to Ned, but with hints of other colors varying from member to member.
As a small mercy to get them started, they will have a special Inkfruit shrub planted in easy access near Ned where they start.
*Currently called ??? until they decide on a name for themselves.
** Until Ned decides on a new name, will continue referring to them as Ned.

Hoo. That's a lot of stuff. Hopefully poor Ned doesn't freak out too much.

SpoilerAdmittedly, thats a lot of stuff to put in. So feel free to take your time and add them bit by bit. This adventure is pretty great, and it's very interesting to see how the different parts interact.

NED looked at the broken Egg and notices the shell moving, a snoring sound can be heard.

Then NED had to Think about something.
Moving away from the egg, NED closed his eye and thought about....

Woodbores

The rain ceased.

When NED opened its eye, NED see's several small little black and pink fluffy eyeless creatures, standing upright with long tendrils, wiggling on their faces.
The tendrils reach out, feeling for things around it.
Picking up a flower, the tendrils pulled it into its starfish like mouth and begin chewing.
with a negative grunt, spits out the flower, clearly not very palatable.

The little woodbores then began sniffing with their little tentacles wiggling in the air.
They then turn to the trees and waddle towards them.

The woodbores then clamp their tentacles on a tree and violently rip a piece of bark off.
The tendrils crush the bark and feed it into its mouth, the woodbores grunt as they crunched.
With so many gorging on the tree, the sound of grunting and crunching of bark could be heard for miles.

When there was no bark left, they then started ripping the tree apart and devoured the wood.

NED looked on as a huge tree was felled within mere moments.

Then NED saw them do something which was rather strange to NED.
One of them went to another tree and began to lay round, off white, slightly opaque eggs, with goo gluing them all together.

when it laid all it could, it moved on deeper into the forest.
The tree is covered in clusters of eggs, dripping with goo.
in fact a whole lot of other woodbores laid their eggs as well, many trees Dripped with snotty glue, that dangled from branch to branch. A quite disgusting sight.

The Woodbores go deeper into the forest, the sound of grunting and crunching gets further away.

NED ponders if this will be a problem in the future, but gives them no more thought.

NED Closed its eye once again and...
