Yeah lol I just meant like. sausage in its simplest, most generic form, as opposed to more specific cultivars of sausage.
Also fliesch just means "meat" so the German word for pork transliterated is simply "meat of the pig".

Very fascinating to see train stations as masculine and subway stations as feminine... I guess I never really thought about it, but there's something yonic about going into a hole in the ground for your transportation which may override the phallic nature of trains and subway cars themselves.

i am quickly learning that nouns having genders in German is arbitrary and makes very little sense and the only way to memorise them is to write and laugh about them on a forum
