Name: Chio
Class: Thief
Bio: The nineteen year old expert thief Chio originally hails from The Kingdom of Sothesia, but has been recently traveling all over Ala'altea, making an honest living stealing from folks he ran across. While he may be a common thief Chio has a lot of practice with a sword, having to fend off anyone that caught him stealing from them.

Chio heard a rumor about the Blades of Altea and decided to seek them out hoping to join their ranks. In an effort to finally make something out of his life.

Name: Selena
Class: Mage
Bio: The daughter of the Ruan captain of a merchant ship and a Magvelian scholar. Selena started learning the basics of magic from her mother at age four and quickly taught herself the rest. At age 16 she left her parents and went to Erida to join the Mage's College but went back to her family in Rua when she realized that she was already an more skilled in the use of magic than her teachers. Selena claims to have descended from one of Magvel's most powerful mages. The Blades' best harp player.

Now 19 and tired of her father's attempts to turn her into his successor, Selena joined the Blades to farther train her magical skills and to avoid having to take up her father's trade.

Name: Morghulis
Class: Monk
Bio: Morghulis, or Morg as he prefers to be called, is an enigma. He claims to be a monk, having been trained in a monastery in Sothesia nearby the border of Altea. But Morg is incredibly young to be a monk, a mere 18 years of age and he has never been caught holding prayer or a sermon. The few times he has been asked to, he brushes it off with his signature, unwavering smile before returning to his books. But those have have seen his skills with light magic can only come to the conclusion that he is a monk of the highest order.

Morg can be found in one of two states: wearing his unending, reassuring smile or with a focused expression peering straight into one of his books. Some find his smile disturbing. He has never been caught without his smile while talking to another person and is very quick to paint it back onto his face whenever someone stumbles into whatever corner he is currently reading in.

Morg left the monastery at the age of 14, when it was burnt to the ground by bandits. Besides himself, there were no survivors. Morg traveled the realm afterwards, frequently finding shelter from small families and villages due to his holy status. During his travels, Morg survived off of his monk status, his incredible talent with light magic, and an uncanny ability to find valuable books. Before applying to the Blades, Morg had managed to fill a small cart entirely with rare books, not to mention the large wagon of common ones.

Morg officially stated his reason for joining the Blades as "To spread the word of Altea." But observant people notice that he is unwilling to hold sermons or prayers for the people, but always manages to find a new book or two in every town they stop at. Perhaps he is there just to collect novels and travel. Or perhaps something else lurks beneath his never-ending smile and the covers of his books.

Name: Forze

Class: Monk

Bio: Much of Forze’s history is unknown to even him. All he does know is that he was dropped off at the doorstep of an Altean monastery near the Sothesian border as a baby. The monks told him that all that was left with him was an empty locket that held a note that said ‘His name is Forze’.

The monks of the place tried to show Forze the teachings of the goddess Altea, but he wasn’t very interested in it. Instead, he listened to the stories of the monks that had been outside of the monastery. Their tales of marvelous cities filled with people and spectacular locations where nature created a masterpiece unparalleled by any other location enraptured him.

This desire to see new places often caused him to sneak out of the monastery and explore the surrounding land instead of attending the lessons and sermons the monks had planned for him to attend. The monks of course weren’t happy about this, but Forze often charmed them out of punishing him for it. Despite the fact he rarely attended the lessons, he showed a surprising aptitude for the light magic taught to the monks for self-defense.

As was custom with the monastery he lived in, they offered the chance to let him either leave or join the monastery permanently at the age of 18. Of course, he chose the option to leave and has never looked back.

After a year or so, he ended up joining with the Blades as a way to get money. He had managed to ration the money the monks had given him as he left, but it can’t get him any farther and he still wants to see more places.

Name: Mancer
Class: Wyvern Rider
Bio: A low ranking officer of the Kingdom of Pelia, Maxim was recognized for his cunning and bravery...however his easygoing attitude and his own personal sense of glory put Mancer at odds with his superiors. By the end of the war he decided to leave the Pelian military on less than gracious terms and seek out his way as a sell sword. However the life of a common sellsword did not appeal to Mancer and he soon found himself in the employ of the Blades, seeking a bit more adventure, a bit higher pay...and possibly an authority he actually felt comfortable answering too.

Name: Mayor
Class: Vanguard
Bio: The first things one would notice about Mayor would be his tall, disciplined stance, worn armor and the fact that he almost never takes off his helmet. While he rarely speaks, when he does one could pick out a tone of grief in his voice. Mayor is also a bit of a perfectionist, often repeating daily actions or overly refining something just so they're just right.

Originally a soldier among the ranks of the Pelia Kingdom, he was a notorious vanguard that was known among his peers for his refined skill with a spear and his somewhat scarily accurate knowledge of a man's vitals, something he still takes a lot of pride in.

However, one night after fighting off a couple of marauders, him and his fellow soldiers went to a pub to celebrate. After a few drinks too many, tempers flared and Mayor got in a fight with a soldier from Sothesia, while he did not start the brawl he certainly ended it when he stabbed his attacker in the neck. Fortunately, he wasn't hung for the murder on the grounds that he was simply defending himself, instead was stripped of his rank and expelled from the army for his lack of discipline.

Since then, he's been working as a merc and honing his skills, while having an almost unhealthy obsession with his past mistakes. He isn't open to new ideas, living by some bizarre life rules he made up and while he detests the idea of joining the Blades, it certainly beats the less than legal activities he's been doing to make end's meat.

(PS: For RP purposes and based on the fact that a lot of other characters are from the Pelian Army, if anyone wants to claim to of met or known Mayor in the Army, or anything along those lines, go right ahead! I'll probably roll with and and it should be fun.)

Name: Isaac
Class: Fighter
Bio: Isaac is from Pelia, and he hates flying. Not because he's afraid of heights, though thinking of falling does unnerve him. He hates the practice of fighting a Wyvern and making it obey you to show you're a man. Isaac, instead of doing this, punched his instructor in the face, stole his axe, and hightailed it to the nearest port, paid for passage on a ship, and ended up in The Sovereignty of Altea. Until he heard the call of the Blades, and decided he could be doing a lot of good.
