You also throw in some dayquil, non-cheap meal supplies (oof), and a newspaper, making a mental note of spraybottles at the pet store. Fortunately the line's not long for checkout. As you're wheeling the cart out the doors, your phone starts to buzz. You pull it out. Oh.

"Hello? Allison?"

"Yeaaaaah..." she replies, sleepily. "Where you at?"

"Went to the store."

"Oh, cool. Do you think I could get a ride to work in a bit?"
