August 1st: - Start a new forum adventure. Don't forget to leave suggestions on everyone else's new adventures.
- Signups open for new Mini-Grands (4 person Grand Battles) starting on the 8th as determined by demand.
August 2nd: The August 2026 SALD begins. (SALDs (short for Something A Little Different) are multiple panel community comics where every artist is only shown the panel immediately before theirs.) Signups remain open throughout the month. The SALD will be made public on the 30th in whatever state it is in at that point. There's no upper limit of participants.
August 3rd: Sanji Day. Everyone is encouraged to draw the character Sanji from the anime One Piece. Posting in "Hell Place, Ontario" during Sanji Day requires an illustration of Sanji in the post.
August 6th: Six For Joy. Everyone rereads and discusses classic Eagle Time Forum Adventure
Magpies and then discusses it in the Forum Adventure Discussion Forum.
August 7th: Dlorph Appreciation Day. Everyone takes a moment today and thinks about Dlorph and how good this silly red square is.
August 8th: New Mini-Grands start running. They are projected to run longer than Eagle Time August, though if a round transition could occur at the end of the month that would ideal.
August 12th: Signups open for The Grand Skeet; a new shortform battle in the style of The Grand Tweet. Rounds will take place on the 13th and 14th and be an hour long per round. Posts will be limited to 140 characters. Exact times of rounds will be discussed closer to the time.
August 13th: The first three rounds of The Grand Skeet will occur.
August 14th: The final three rounds of The Grand Skeet will occur and a winner will be crowned.
August 15th:- A brand new ruleset in the Post Making Contest.
- Nominations for the Eagle Time Forum Adventures Awards open. These awards are primarily for the newly started adventures from earlier in the month, but there will be one category for best pre-existing adventure.
August 18th: I don't know what I mean when I say One Day Mafia. We'll figure it out.
August 19th: Nominations for the Eagle Time Forum Adventures Awards close.
August 21st: Classic Jackbox Games Night in the Eagle Time Discord. Time and game selection to be discussed beforehand.
August 22nd:- Eaglesona Deathmatch. idk what this means.
- Voting opens for the Eagle Time Forum Adventures Awards.
August 24th: Voting closes for the Eagle Time Forum Adventures Awards.
August 26th: Eaglesona Orgy. idk what this means either.
August 28th: New Eagle Time Gaming episode releases: Eagle Time Gaming plays Blind Trust.
August 29th: Turbo Fast. We all watch at least one full episode of Turbo Fast today. I will probably run a watchalong in the Discord as a convenient way to do so, but participation isn't mandatory.
August 30th:- Eagle Time Book Club. Discussion opens on the book of the month. Open to suggestions for this months book, and I will offer some suggestions later when I've had a think.
- August 2026 SALD finishes and is posted publicly.
August 31st: Eagle Time Forum Adventures Awards. Expect a quite simple ceremony with bad art but a lot of heart.
