Policy about typing quirks and leet

Is there a policy against typing quirks? I find it annoying. I am sure others do to.

If it's limited to roleplay, that's fine.
A forum is an archive format and should be maintained.

This is especially important for long-running threads. Forum adventures are meant to be read in full.

Here are the forum rules, typing quirks do not cleanly fit into any particular forbidden category so are not explicitly forbidden.
Also nobody has ever actually done it and I’m not particularly worried that anyone will, so it’d be an odd thing to have a rule about.
