"Our time is short. Come. I will answer any questions as we go, but we must be moving."
Myra's examination of a charred piece of hydra soon reveals that the stuff tastes utterly revolting. Probably just as well - imagine if a butcher got hold of one of the things! Surely he would soon rule the world through economy.
Black Zenith Balance Patch 1.0431456
Thunderpaw
Fury Comet now does 1x Power to everything in a very large radius, but the cooldown is now 12.
NPC's
Added missing dialogue to Razan, causing the game to sometimes become stuck.

Bohw grumbles and rises to her feet, chasing after the others and catching up to Thunderpaw, following his pace she leans forwards and tries to talk to him.
"Hey, Thunderpaw. Uh, this might not be the best time, but just as an idea from the leader, it might be a smart idea to split up the magic jewels and divide them between the party. That's just making yourself a unnecessarily big target, I think... and... you need to stop doing that..."
She squats down to his level and talks in a quieter tone, lest the others hear. "You might disagree with this, but I'd say give Aven'sara to Nos. He's proved reliable, if quirky... maybe she can give him a bit more stability, yeah?"

SpoilerTake this as you will, but I think our items have been very poorly distributed now that I have a look about it. Specifically Watson and Thunderpaw are being loot hogs, no offense guys. So you two, Masterblade and Ican'tgivecredit, please read this in full.
First off, let me start of with Watson. Do you mind if I meta-game a bit? Because let me tell you, I was in the last game and just based on previous experiences, the Book of Warding is going to give a special ability that will no doubt be based on Affinity. Because first things first: Watson is literally the worst person to make use of it, he should probably hand it off to Myra, Savannah or Nos. MAYBE, I AM NOT 100% SURE but am pretty damn confident.
I will buy it off you if I have too, because that is seriously a huge waste.
I would say something about the Verdant Fragment but... I think it's more fun if I don't. And I won't. Just keep it until we figure out what it does. Watson is serving as a pretty good Off-Tank.
(A side note, I thought about it and probably the regen armor would be better in Mayor's hands, he focuses on attacks that don't use a hit roll, like taunting and defending, taking blows for others ect, but that is totally your call. I might be willing to trade items for it though, I dunno.)
Also Masterblade, sorry but you can't go around snatching all the rare jewels, you should hand Aven'sara off to someone, (along side with the Ring that gives +4 in stats you don't use). I was originally going to say Myra benifits the most from Aven'sara, but thinking about it, Explosive + Hyper-Magical-Metabolism would lead to some interested spells being flung about, Nos will be able to buff himself with a buff that will turn him into a murderous fucking nightmare. It would be awesome. Also Madness Dance which gives big buffs. (He also only has 2 items, 1 of which is a bow, as apposed to your 10, not counting trash loot.)
Thinking about it though, the new Jewel sits nicely in your own hands. Nos and Myra are also a possibility, but Nos might be getting Aven'sara anyway and Myra has several item special abilities, while throwing a Fury Comet and Blade of Light every 6 turns is terrifying.
So yeah, that. Maybe give the Ring to Myra, actually, she uses both Affinity and Speed. It will also give 24 Affinity, that's +7 to magic rolls, which is almost as powerful as the roll bonus Hellbent gives. Plus if Watson gives her the book, which will most likely be affinity based, that's +7 to that, too.
You don't have to follow my advice here, but that's my thoughts into it all. Lets get some better synergy going, I think one of the reasons the last fight went bad is because of our disorganization of items.
Relatedly, I am giving my HP pot to Nos because he has stupidly low defense and I keep forgetting to use it. Not now, but soon of course, when the plot is appropriate.

SpoilerUm, wow you are favoring Nos there. I mean, I've been lazy about grabbing up loot so I can kinda see -why- you're doing that, but still. We don't need to dump all that stuff on Nos, surely.
So I guess I'll get power-gamey too, then? Blazer has leaderspeak and I don't so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt or whatever, but anyway. I do have one request for Nos. Watson's Starmetal Greatsword... cheezus that thing looked so built around Nos's Explosive! trait that I almost asked Chim if he had designed it with Nos in mind when we first saw it. Credit, I know Watson paid for that with his own cash but maybe we can work out a deal where Nos, like, borrows it and pays/trades Watson for ownership of it later? I mean, you do have another two-handed weapon already, correct?
Anyway, Aven'sara. Uhm, not so sure it's such a great idea -on- Nos. Yes, putting super buffs on Nos is a fine plan, but think about it. The only benefit lost from putting Aven'sara on someone other than Nos and having them buff him is his Explosive! trait. Because of Explosive!, Nos can only really cast every other turn. So yeah we'd be getting 30% stronger buffs on Nos but only half as many total buffs for other peeps. That's a waste of an item that grants a ridiculous +75% bonus. Also I'm pretty sure it wouldn't affect any of the side effects of Madness Dance? Alsoalso I will be honest I would rather not have to be nigh-obligated to cast buffs all the time, I'd rather buff Nos once and then spend the next couple spells testing how far Chim will let me go with necromancy and mind control and stuff.
Talking about who -should- get the caster stuff, the answer is probably Myra. I mean Savannah will probably work for a while but who can say how long it will be until we go into another place where her Aff and Str get swapped again? She wouldn't be a useless caster then but still a quite less powerful one. Myra meanwhile is always a hard-set caster. No offense to SupahKiven or Frolic if I've misinterpreted your characters. Talking about Aven'sara specifically it's pretty much a matter of who is willing to devote a lot of their time to buffing in the future, and I will point out that Savannah can just hand off Aven'sara to Myra in areas where there isn't sufficient plant life. And if we're talking about handing items off yes we can always experiment by handing Aven'sara off to Nos during a safe period and have him put a buff into the Spell Focus for maximum buffage.
(Lastedit: I have only just now noticed my totally fatal mistake of completely forgetting that Explosive! doesn't apply to spells cast from items arghdangitcursesragespitbile)
(Moreedit: I had words about the Ring of Hymm here, but then they were all invalidated when I realized that Savannah already has a bonus to her Affinity. So really I'd say she or Myra could use it equally well and comments about Savannah handing Aven'sara off in plantless lands apply to the Ring as well.))
Also the Hp potion thing is sweet and all but you don't have to -give- it to Nos, you can just use it on him when he needs it. A turn spent healing is a turn not spent attacking, so unless Bohw is hellbent or there's a lot of enemies to attack she might be a good candidate for potion duty, rather than making Nos or whoever use it on themselves. I mean unless it can only be used on whoever is holding it?
Finally I agree, and in fact insist, that Samsouvra stays with Thunderpaw. Half cooldown on all his nukes is just... s'just amazing, y'know? He's, like, gonna kill all the mofos. It's sick. It's unreasonable. It's o.p as hell heaven. Something like half cooldowns should be equally useful on all of us but I can't think of anybody who could use it half as well as Thunderpaw, that's how good it is on him.

SpoilerJust a few clarifications
No special ability is based off of either strength, speed or affinity. They ALWAYS use your highest roll (excluding specific bonuses - Savannah's Growth bonus doesnt apply to her Absolute Zero, for instance). The idea is say, that a strength character can also do something fancy magical, such as Thunderpaw's Blade of Light, or perhaps a mage conjuring a bow and shooting frost arrows or something. That said, the situation with the book is more complicated than just so and im not telling you what that means.
And why yes the Greatsword was specifically designed with Nos in mind. Dont get me wrong, though, its quite good on anyone - hell, it'd be quite good on Thunderpaw aswell because of his guaranteed crit on entering combat, or Savannah for her guaranteed crit on backstabbing. Ofcourse thats not exactly a long term stategy but whatever, it'd still hurt.
Also when did i ever say you cant have several bonuses to a particular stat? Because if i did that rule is now revoked. Players are still prevented from stacking several bonuses of +2 to hitting things with swords, as an example, though.
Also why yes you are totally allowed to powergame, as long as you dont let it take absolute priority. I'd still consider the roleplaying part vastly superior but thats no excuse to not pay any attention to fancy mechanics.

SpoilerIf this is directed at what I was saying about the Ring of Hymm and Savannah I didn't mean that at all. The bit I had deleted was a rant about how since Savannah has 19 Aff with the +4 from the ring she'd only have 23 which is apparently just 1 too low for this +7 roll bonus or whatever Blazer was talking about. When I said "she already has an Aff bonus" I meant "she doesn't just have 19 aff so the +4 bonus would give her at least that +7 roll bonus or whatever."
Also talking about the greatsword, that is why I didn't say anything about it before. S'just Savannah already has a nice weapon and Thunderpaw... actually Thunderpaw is probably a much better nuker than Nos so if it weren't for his large number of items I might say give it to him instead. I dunno it might really be better on him than Nos. Also Watson did pay for it so I guess I shouldnt've actually brought it up. Hrm.

Lets look at a list of all the items in Thunderpaw's inventory.
Quote:-Blacksmith's Hammer
-A Locket
-Ring of Slowfall
-Samsouvra Daishar
-Aven'sara Jeade'en
-Knight's Breastplate
-Runed Bracers
-Belt of Giant Strength
-Sigil of Restoration
-Broken Hero Bow
-Tattered Moldy Cloak
-Old Travelers' Boots
-Ring of Hymn
-The Travels of Jain Farstrider
-Parchment
-Ink
-Ruined Book
-Bottle of Wine (which has been both consumed and broken)
Now lets remove all the pointless fluff items picked up for the sake of personal plot and monologue.
Quote:-Blacksmith's Hammer
-Ring of Slowfall
-Samsouvra Daishar
-Aven'sara Jeade'en
-Knight's Breastplate
-Runed Bracers
-Belt of Giant Strength
-Sigil of Restoration
-Ring of Hymn
We'll then remove everything purchased with cash, as Chim has been so careful as to make sure everyone gets an even amount. Then remove everything from the first act where it was a team of one and we are left with this list.
Quote:-Samsouvra Daishar
-Aven'sara Jeade'en
-Ring of Hymn
This is all the combat equipment Thunderpaw has taken from the loot pool over the course of the past two acts.
Suffice to say, Thunderpaw's "Loot Hogging" is a very tricky subject to poke at. On one side, he has been the sole bearer of all the plot crystals thus far and a ring noone can figure out why I keep. The truth of the matter is, Thunderpaw has yet to recieve any usable loot besides these three items in the course of a year of gameplay. The party has yet to stumble across any hammers for our rabbit to use. He's yet to come across any armor or defence items to keep him reenforced. Besides a ring that makes his STANDARD ITEM throwing hammers slightly more powerful, he's yet to gain any special loot besides the plot gems he only bears because he's been the only one to take initiative in seeking them.
Everyone has been slowly getting their bows and swords to buff their offence. People have been getting items to boost their magical skills or teach them new things. And Thunderpaw has been sitting there making speeches around tattered cloaks and broken heirlooms Chim never intended to be anything more than junk. And now you want to hold claim over the petty loot Thunderpaw has managed to claim from the party's spoils? Despite what you might think, each one plays a vital role to skills.
- Aven'sera boosts the power of buff spells by 75%, directly boosting Blade of Light's friendly fire buff and the Sigil of Restoration's restoration. In addition, it has been Thunderpaw's job to get Bohw out of hellbent before she murders the party. If it wasn't for wise shop picks, that one time he didn't end it would have been fatal.
- The Ring of Hymm boosts Thunderpaw's speed, which allows him to do more damage with throwing weapons, such as the Blade of Light when used offensively and the Throwing Hammers I've been trying to make into a thing. On top of that, if I were to try and develop light-based magic based off of my affiliation with light techniques, the boost to affinity would directly help there.
- Samsouvra is reducing the cooldowns for my techniques, which have recently been rebalanced with higher cooldowns. This will hurt particularly hard the second I am forced to surrender this crystal in favor of someone else's abilities. As Thunderpaw is built to be the hard counter for spellcaster and leader-type enemies that splash the entire party with damage, keeping his abilities in-use serves as a key to survival.
I know how you may feel that Thunderpaw has been hoarding all the loot. Hell, he's king on useless items and spending money wisely on a variety of trinkets; on top of hogging all the secret plot! However, you currently ask me to surrender my few loot picks to party members that have taken the full haul of the spoils. My share has been and always will be fair, even if my trinkets seem to be the most adored. Perhaps down the road when we've found bunny armor and a new, shiny maul the option of splitting the plot crystals will be more viable. Right now, however, they're all he's ever taken and I will contest fully to their redistribution.

SpoilerEek. Masterblade, no offense but don'tcha think you might be overreacting a bit? Chim's right that the plot should be more important than powergaming. It would make the most sense plot-wise for Thunderpaw to hold onto the crystals since, y'know, they aren't just items and Aven'sara at least has good reason to stay with Thunderpaw.
And yes, things that you paid for you really shouldn't be asked to part with. So I shouldn't be asking for Watson's greatsword. My bad, Credit.
Also here's me being a hypocrite and talking about the statistical benefits of sharing your loots anyway
Show Content
SpoilerThis is rude of me, so I do apologize in advance. But Masterblade, you're massively overestimating the effectiveness of both Aven'sara and the Ring of Hymm on Thunderpaw. Already talked about how Samsouvra should stay on Thunderpaw so he can dish out his nukes twice as often. That is seriously some wicked damage potential given that your focus on damaging abilities that I don't think anybody else can quite compete with.
Discussing the Ring, you make fair points, but that honestly sounds like you're trying to spread yourself too thin. You could make your Speed and Affinity actions decent, but those are still turns that could be better spent making use of your Str, which will remain better. Plus, Chim just stated that he uses your highest stat for abilities anyway, so Blade of Light and the rest of your moves should go off of Str rather than Aff or Spd. Correct me if I'm wrong about that though. Anyway the ring would be much better used buffing someone's primary attribute. All that, and I don't think the ring is actually giving you it's bonuses right now? The +4s aren't appearing on your statsheet anyway.
Aven'sara... seriously? Yes, Blade of Light has an effect that benefits from Aven'sara, but shoot. First off, when you use it to attack you aren't benefiting from Aven'sara at all. Second, even with Samsouvra and using Blade of Light on an ally every time it's off cooldown you are only benefitting from Aven'sara every 6 turns. Meanwhile on a dedicated caster they can, hypothetically, reap the benefit of that guy every turn and perhaps more importantly invoke any number of different buffs, whereas Thunderpaw can only increase the power of one person- someone who would ideally be wounded because Blade of Light also heals the target, so Thunderpaw's options would be limited to whoever is currently wounded. At the risk of repeating myself, this is why I don't think Nos should have Aven'sara- he can only benefit from it on every other turn under ideal conditions.
Anyway, Masterblade, all that loot is yours by right of ownership anyway. Can't rightly force it away from you without killing you and then we aren't really working for the greater benefit of the team, are we? I'm getting really wordy here, so suffice to say I'm only talking about this because it's for the sake of maximizing the effectiveness of every item so that we do better in fights and whatnot.

Spoilerugh i have got to stop writing things late at night
because 1: It never occured to me that Myra COULD BUFF NOS. YOU KNOW.
2: I forgot about the greatsword/spear, Watson running around with two weapons is kind of silly yep
3rdly: I FORGOT THE BIGGEST THING TO MENTION, THUNDERPAW AND WATSON SHOULD CONSIDER TRADING THEIR ITEMS AWAY NOT SIMPLY SAYING THAT YOU MUST GIVE THEM AWAY HAHAHA oh my fucking god I am colossal idiot, I was meerly pointing out suggestions to who they should go to.
THAT SAID LET ME RE-ITERATE and discuss things yes yes good.
In response to Masterblade, I still seriously think Aven'sara and the Ring are not reaching their best potential in his hands, please don't take it the wrong way. Additionally, the Locket has an effect, it is an unknown one.
Aven'sera: I seriously, seriously doubt that he should be holding onto it because of Blade of Light, which most of the time has been used to either do serious damage to an enemy, or to keep Drama Queen Bohw under control. Thunderpaw does not do invigorating battle shouts, rally everyone, or any kind of buff in general, most of the time he just hits things very very hard, reliably too. While you do have a potentially nice buff with Blade of Light, not only Myra has nice buffs with her Winds of Fate, but her character also revolves a bit around the buff, while Thunderpaw revolves around the smash from what I've seen. (Also I don't know what this life-saving event refers too, Thunderpaw has only broke the Hellbent twice, the first time was given to you as a plot point the second one does not relate to casting buffs, could you elaborate?)
The Ring of Hymm: Chim also stated, (shooting a hole through my book argument), special attacks do not rely upon one kind of stat, just the roll. So while Blade of Light is a ranged attack, it does not get any bonuses from the ring or your speed stat. You can probably totes keep it though if you plan on getting some ranged and magic related traits or whatever, but do be careful if you do, Thunderpaw will become a rather divided character resulting in a Jack of all Trades master of none scenario if you are not careful.
Samsouvra however was totally made for you and it is an incredibly powerful item. That is all yours, I never said anyone else should take it. In fact I don't think anyone said anything. o~o
Also, to hammer in the nail even further let me look at all the loot everyone else in the party has picked up, not counting purchased items or trash loot as if the rest of it.
Bohw + Mayor (2 items)
Ranger General's Magitech Longbow (Counting it, even though it was traded in using existing 3 Bows and Money, but 1 of those bows have been looted pre-join up.)
Barrier Aegis
Nos (0 Items):
All loot has been purchased.
Watson (4 items):
Ancient Blessed Armor
Sunguard Runespear
Verdant Fragment
Book of Warding
Savannah (1 item):
Champion Blade (I think?)
Myra (0 Items):
She started off with all the items she currently had.
As apposed to your 4 looted items, (3 if you don't count the Locket even though after I pointed out it does something, just unknown.) everyone else other than Watson still has less items (who I was chewing out for loot hogging too), the only person coming close would be Bohw and Mayor with 2 looted items, who not only count as 2 characters but one of those items were obtained by trading off several other items.
But yes as you have said there have been no lootable items that are specific to you. That's a problem that I cannot deny.
That all said and true however, you still have a sizable inventory, impressive and grand as it is, but the Locket and Samsouvra, which I strongly believe should stay in your possession and are still incredibly powerful items, not only that but you get the best benefit out of both of them (probably, I have an idea about the locket). And I understand that you haven't been getting good drops, because I could of pointed this out earlier yet I didn't. The very reason I pointed out the loot problem now and not earlier is because now we have found items that will replace Aven'sara and the Ring, them being the Locket and Samsouvra.
I am sorry that I offended you really, (even if I didn't) so let me re-iterate: THIS IS ALL JUST A SUGGESTION. As the somehow-a-leader leader, Bohw and Myself are merely pointing this out for your consideration.
Should you want to follow through with my suggestion is entirely your call, but it was just a comment, a suggestion, a light nudge if you say. Nothing more, please, remember that is nothing more than that.
Sorry.
(Also Dais, I use Hellbent as a self-heal. Tbh my next trait will be based upon making me less insane the more hurt I am when transforming. But that has been noted, I guess I'll hold onto it? I dunno. But Potions don't take up a turn to use, you still don't want it? :U
Plus I favored Nos because he has had two items that's it. 1 of which has no use whatsoever. Eheh.)

Yes! YES! Bring your discussion to bear, try to steal all the loot!
Just for clarification, but no the ring is worthless to Thunderpaw because the trait that gives him throwing powahs simply changes what throwing actions are based off from speed to strength and doesnt actually make him any good at anything speed related. And as Daid said the bonus is then irrelevant to Blade of Light.
And Aven'sara's bonus doesnt apply to heals. Currently it makes Blade of Light better at dispelling and better at improving Power. Thats it.
That said loot drops are rarely ever designed to fit someone specifically, rather they were designed for the things you fought. The shield and spear are good examples of this.

SpoilerI admit, I have quite a few items, but I'm not really willing to give away the store-bought ones. Also the spear is pretty crap for throwing (and it's not really worth their turn action for anyone else to try throwing it) so I only need it for its ability.
I am willing to give Mayor the Blessed Armor. I don't like having my precision reduced anyway :S
The Warding book. Yeah you guys haven't really worked out who should receive it but yes, I am standing by, ready to give it away.
I'm willing to sell my Vase for 80 gold to Nos even though he gets a third of all potions coming out of there if it pleases him.
If Nos doesn't want to buy the Vase, I'm willing to trade it with the Ancient Blessed Armor for the Basilisk Scale Mail
(you can't wear 2 pieces of armor anyway so what's he going to do with the blessed armor?)

you cant wear two armors and Mayor cannot equip the blessed armor because hes a fuckin golem
Instead he gets his fancy armor upgrades
Which, honestly, are a great deal better
He could probably take an armor to a blacksmith or a wizzzzzard or something, though, and just kind of get imbued with some kind of fancy magic taken from a piece of gear or something. Probably gonna cost some, though.

I've guarded caravans of valuable goods; I know how to keep things of importance safe and have the raw stopping and running power to do so. Except i'd be in control of that look. Also i dont have eyes. And i guess i'd run off to wreck things given such a convenient excuse, so... Heh. I guess your 'concern' is well placed.

Thing is, Bohw is wearing the Basilisk Armor, not Mayor.
But yeah, you should decide on giving away that spear or book to someone at least. Or both. Really it's entirely up to you.
Bohw makes a low, bestial, growling noise in response to Thunderpaw's reasoning. "You cannot carry the burdens of the party on your back." She mutters, her tone showing concern.
"You cannot just ignore how close to death you just came to back there, regardless of who dealt that blow. Hold all the spiritual jewels if you must, should we be in a scenario where a pickpocket would be a threat, but when we charge into the heart of the enemy... I don't want the keys to their destruction hiding behind one man, ah... Bunni. I want to minimize risk where I see fit and even if we could recover the jewels safely, should you fall... I'd think everyone would agree when I say that you deserve much more than a shallow grave on the battlefield."
Clearing her throat, she raises her head and looks over at Razan, continuing to speak to Thunderpaw as she does so. "However, that's just my look on the whole scenario, do whatever, but we're in this together, eh? Just food for thought."

SpoilerWould Bohw want the ancient blessed armor and Vase for the basilisk armor then?
Also, I was at odds with myself as to who should get the book! Look at Nos
now look at Myra
now look at Nos
now look at Myra
Nos getting the book: HUGE EXPLOSIONS, MASS CARNAGE, EVERYONE DIES (except us)
Myra getting the book: OP heals, protection, we might be able to recover if we're in grave danger
I had to do the "responsible thing" ;)
Watson tries reading from the Book of Warding as he walks along with the rest of the gang and can't understand not a single thing. He's never even dabbled in magic!
"This is absolutely useless", he thinks, "Maybe the ravenkin will be able to find more meaning in these texts. Now I remember why I loathe magic so."
Watson slows down to be beside Myra.
"I think you would better benefit from this than I." he says, giving a disdainful look at the book, as if wanting to be rid of it as he hands it to her.
He also hears Samsouvra talking. He has no idea why crystals can talk or why he's about to even speak with one, but he has to get his point in.
"What's that to say of Aven'sara then? And of course, Thunderpaw should not hog all of the fame for being the keeper of the crystals." Watson laughs in Thunderpaw's general direction.

Even following that model you're forgetting two things:
-Nos would only be able to makeadabewm every other turn
-There is no "except us" part.
So yeah, Myra was the right choice.
Nos, a distance away from the party still, looks back at the party appraisingly. He sees Watson talking to Myra briefly, but something doesn't seem right to him.
Who the heck is that? I think I'm supposed to know who that person is! What if they send me a winter holiday card and I don't remember their address to send a return card? It's not like it will be included with her card!
He goes over to Myra and sidles up next to her. "So, you. Yeeeeeahh.....
...
um, hi?"

Myra was cleansing her beak and feathers of that horrible, charred, most depressing use of the word "meat" that she has ever come across in her entire life, when she noticed everyone was taking their leave. Shaking the water droplets off of her feathers, Myra takes flight again, swooping and spiraling around the group as they walked.
The ravenfolk lowered her altitude to that of Watson's head, examining the book before reacting in any other way. "Oh? Ohhh, what's that? You don't want it? I'll gladly take it off your hands!" Casting a levitation spell on the Book of Warding, Myra takes it from Watson's disinterested grasp.
She was about to open the book and read as she flew, until Nos came up to make...some sort of attempt to converse, she supposes? Oh wait, this is a perfect time for valuable conversation, to get to learn more about her teammates! Yes, bonding time is definitely important if she's going to be working with them like this! "Oh, hi," she begins, still keeping the book floating mid-air, "You are Nos, no? Haha, you held a mighty battle back there! Are you hired help? How did you join everyone here? Those spells you cast are quite colorful, who taught you magic? Or did you teach yourself? Most don't have the talont to learn magic on their own. But my, you are clawfully good at smashing things! It's li-SQUAWK!!" At that very point, Myra almost lost her concentration for the levitation spell, and scrambled to regain it before the book fell on someone's feet. She puts the book in her magical inventory, deciding against risking her concentration again.

Nos beams with pride as Myra goes on and on with the praise. "Yeh-hes, I am so good at smashing things that I don't even have to remember that I am most of the time!"
He watches politely as Myra nearly drops the book she had been magick-floating, which helps him not to forget that he had been asked a question about his own magicking! "My ability to make the world more fun? That, little birdie, is sheer willpower! I exert my will upon the world and like some sort of superior being, change is enacted for the better!" Then is looks like he is actually trying to remember, and after a while a troubled look crosses his face. "Actually... I suppose I'm not sure." And then he stands there, staring at the ground.

Black Zenith Balance Patch 1.07
General
Being reduced to 0 health no longer immediately kills a player but instead disables them until the end of combat or until 50% of their health has been restored. If not healed, a single hit will be sufficient to kill. However while in this state healing taken is reduced by 75%. Shielding has full effectiveness.
updates should start picking up again now, i think.
