Huh. You didn't think this would happen to you. The elevators sometimes break down and stop, because they're pretty old, but this is the first time it has stopped with you in it.

Spoilerfun fact: i've been wanting to do that "ON/NOT ON" lightswitch gag since I was, like, 7 years old.

fun fact x2: i don't really know how elevators work so for plot reasons let's assume they can be turned off somehow by flicking a switch

I'm gonna be in Florida for the entirety of next week, a whole ten days. No updates till then. I'm not exactly sure when Last Day shall return, especially since I'll probably be playing Skullgirls when I get back.

I might draw some stuff and put it up on my Tumblr, but they won't be scans.

I ended up not getting to the updates that I wanted to, but those will come later I suppose.

Many, many unprofessional works that are drawn over a long period of time, specifically webcomics, tend to have character designs that mold and bend to both the artistic abilities of the artist and the general feel for the character's design. See Gunnerkrigg Court and Boxer Hockey. I originally designed Ted to look like Jonathan Coulton. By the fourth update I suddenly drew the long head design that I particularly like to draw in my other character designs and it sort of stuck. It got pretty fucking long overtime and I'm attempting to keep it proportional. Other examples are Jennifer's hair and body shape (she got shorter and somewhat pudgier) and La-La as a whole.

Also Florida was pretty fucking awesome. Ate some ice cream, saw a dolphin, went swimmin'. Skullgirls is also pretty fucking awesome and you all really need to buy it.

No update for today, just letting everyone know I'm back (have been since yesterday)

You don't have a flashlight keyring in your inventory, but you do have your laptop, which at least illuminates the pitch black room, albeit dimly.



It's a very basic and old laptop that you got a very cheap price. Not like you need anything particularly high-end or flashy. It only serves one purpose, and serves it well. Particularly on rainy nights.



Oh...looks like you don't have much battery life left.
