There's nothing to worry about, guys. This so-called monster you have been discussing, were he to exist, wouldn't have an artery running to his brain anyway. Any minute now, you're going to see him--assuming he exists, which I doubt--keel over dead. I'm sure of it.

Also I hear his liver was sold on eBay the other day. Clearly he doesn't have that anymore, either.

Hypothetically, if this monster did exist, he'd have many things in common with the ghosts, so that would lead me to believe that missing organs wouldn't hinder him much.

Not to mention the protagonist who's being eaten by him. Also "I think therefore I am."

All the disbelieving is really doing is making him starving and ravenous enough to eat Alex faster.

Of course, it might also rob him of his senses, allowing him to make mistakes easier while we still have our minds.
