haha yeh
sorry about the stream argument tho you never said what kind of build it is exactly it's obviously dex if you're using the Baldur swag sword, but is it a pure dex tank or is it an int mix? 'cause the build I was just speaking of is my pure dex tank, tho its less "tank" more "Fast Roll in full lords blade with FAP and Great Scythe" gonna be honest; not a fan of the great scythe's light attacks, but the heavy attacks and especially the running attacks are glorious what time'll you be on tomorrow yo let's try for a match or somethin' alternatively you can jolly co-op with me or something who knows sunbro Kalameet+ hahaha Kalameet+ also m'GFWL is RedoftheFlames

I'm currently running around in Duke's though, and that's got a nice enough dueling spot on the first floor. I'm not actually sure how much I'll be on tomorrow, to be honest - it's struck me that my spring break is running out really fast and I have a bunch of homework due monday I left piled up. If not this week though, sometime during the next. EDIT: fixed the mislinked picture

yeahhh my spring break was last week... unfortunately I can really only play friday-sunday because I (unfortunately) can't afford to move out yet so I'm stuck with my parents house and "no using your good computer during school you have to use my toaster of a laptop" is (are?) my dad's rule(s)
personally I hate dukes invasions, too many nasty tricks one can pull... I'll still fight you there tho tho why ARE you in dukes if it's a pvp only build why are you clearing more areas because more bosses alive is more places to host

He's just so boring, and everything about him except SHARK!!!!!!! is better represented in other characters like how Roxie and Issac both do SCIENCE better and how Adam does BORING GUY MAN better (and also, as a side note, both of them involve ~gimmicks~ and guess what I like, YES, gimmicks) and I just don't think that compared to Virtually Every Other Mysterious Character he should join the otherwise well design if cheesecaked skullgirl cast. Scythana is like the only character I might vote for who doesn't have a gimmick??? Everyone else has Something Interesting that I've never seen in a fighting game that I think would be pretty fun to see happen.

Yeah i agree, i don't think he's that bad though but that's only because there are much worse in my opinion, scientist shark dude is at least a bit charming and my reasoning for that is that he's a short, chubby and nerdy science shark-man who's also a sports nerd, he has several things going on for him (even if they're not original). He wouldn't be an extremely incompetent/joke character either like Norimaro, which is great. Fucking Fillia is worse than that.
Personally, i find the blatant rip-offs more offensive. You can't pretend Molly is a different character than Tron Bonne, Hive even has Q-bee's hive hands, or the worst of the worst, Regina a.k.a. Ruby Heart with a different palette. They don't feel "inspired" by those characters, they look like alternate forms of them. Eliza is one that's obviously inspired by Jedah and Anakaris, but also has her own thing going on with the staff, vampirism and living skeleton thing. If i were to vote I'd vote for Eliza or Beowulf, maybe the bard dude but i'm not sure if the living instrument thing has been done before (that witch chick from guilty gear? I don't remember). I'm content with both Squiggly and Big Band though.

I enjoy PvP, but I also enjoy progressing through areas, although Duke's is honestly the only one of the four after Anor Londo that I enjoy. I might leave Seathe alive and just invade there, I haven't decided yet.

Been playing Half Minute Hero recently. Pretty good game, but...
For the XBLA/PC remake, they made the rather baffling decision to make the rejiggered Princess/Evil Lord/Knight modes only one level each, with almost the exact same gameplay as Hero mode, when in the original they were much more fleshed out and had many different levels. Thankfully the PC version has the old content as well, though without the updated graphics, but it still confuses me.

I have to wonder if it was a time thing. Like, they didn't have time to make all new resources for the other modes for some weird reason? I have no clue, it's weird.
I need to get it myself.

There is a game I and a number of friends have been playing frequently in the last few months, called Space Station 13. This is a roleplaying game set in a two dimensional state of the art plasma research space station, built by the benevolent Nanotrasen Coorporation.
In the game, you can play as many exciting jobs Nanotrasen can offer to you!
However, you must heed a warning. The terrifying Syndicate has planted many covert operatives on the station. Some of them are average crewmember who were bribed, some of them are dna eating aliens, some of them are charismatic brainwasher. And lets not forget about the space wizard federation... Gameplay is a bit clunky, and the learning curve is steep. It is possible to fall out airlocks, get shocked by electricity, or be the target of a hired assassin. However, once you get into the spirit of the game, it will be a good source of anecdotes such as when the space wizards blew himself up before anybody realized that there is a wizard lurking about, or when the station started a cult of clowniness. All hail HONK. To play it, you need to download a BYOND client, and meet us in this address byond://ss13.nelefa.org:4228 You can chat with the players on #sayustation on Esper! This is a good starter guide for new players. However, you can safely ignore the "Select assisstant only" advice of it! The general populace on the server is a small group, where everyone knows everyone, so I can assure you that barring a few Random People, the players will be nice. Beware of covert assassins though! However, when there are insufficient amount of players online, we set the server to Sandbox or Extended, where no antagonists are present. In Sandbox mode, you can also spawn your items. Good for learning. Closing words: Get out there, the station needs you!

It has a "more is more" mentality, so it can seem amazingly obtuse, but the upshot is that it lets many more types of situations take place. It's sort of like Dwarf Fortress, except multiplayer and in space, in that regard.

So I finished Ghost Trick and enjoyed it thoroughly. The characters were charming and memorable, the puzzles hit the sweet spot between challenging and frustrating, and the storyline was well-crafted and well-executed.

AMD Phenom XII Black edition quad core processor, Radeon 5770 video card, 8 gb memory atm, a gigabyte motherboard and a solid state drive that slows everything else down... lol. tho my dad has been offering to give me a second drive to install in it to add some speed since he doesn't use it it can still run skyrim at about high quality with minimal lag though. So I've been looking back into Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, and was excited to learn that it's scheduled to be finished in the second quarter of this year. I was even more excited to realize that the team that's working on it is the same team that made Dear Esther, an experiment in interactive story-telling that plays sort of like if Bastion were closer to a first-person storybook. I look forward to seeing what kind of puzzles and horror elements they can come up with! If the trailers are anything to judge by, it's going to be sweet.
e: Red I would recommend you play Cave Story? That's a fun one and will probably last you...well, it depends on how much you're playing it per day, but if you play it mostly nonstop several days to a week I'd say. After that TF2, which is good and also free and will keep you busy for a while. That's if you don't already play it, of course.

Hnrg, I didn't like Dear Esther all that much. I expected more than just walking across the island slowly. I'm assuming the storytelling mechanic adds replayability, but I just can't bring myself to slog through it again.
Also building your own computer is the best, so long as you don't short something that makes your game crash constantly on multiplayer... e: also excited for Machine for Pigs though. I'm the only one of my friends that's actually sat down and powered through the whole of Amnesia. |
