like in the scenario where Reecer is a mislynch, what if we end up switching from him onto a scum member. I think scum would be right to be annoyed if something outside the game like scheduling concerns cost them that. I know this is a clusterfuck but...I dunno, 3 days is a big deal.

You are David DeVue, the Project Manager, aka the BPJ Anti-Traitor MayorCultist.

As a project Manager, your job was to organise the many teams of journalists into their respective projects, and to ensure that the work got done. You knew if someone was slacking off or taking short-cuts: they have a smell to them. Detecting liars was your second nature. The other employees didn’t take you very seriously.

For each project, you always chose a team leader. While your choices were strictly perfect, sometimes the team composition made your leader get cast to the side or treated as an equal. But, with these new upgrades from the CEO themself, you can finally give true power to those who deserve it. Not to belittle your previous technique. It was also excellent.

Once per night, you must elect another player. They are now the Mayor (which is publicly announced), and their vote is worth two for the following Day. If you elect a new Mayor, the previous mayor’s voting power is returned to normal. If you elect the same mayor consecutively, they gain additional powers unknown to you. These powers are transferred when a new mayor is elected.

If you die, the last mayor you elected becomes the Forever Mayor, and grows in strength as if you were electing them each night.

Each night, you learn whether the current mayor has changed alignment or win condition, but not what alignment they are or win condition they have.

You win if every threat to town is eliminated. You can also earn the win for town by having a Benign Mayor reach the end of the game alive.

As a Tour Guide of the WhatTheBuzz offices, you could perfectly navigate a group of children through a facility as dangerous as any other. Each mission had your job on the line, but you had the confidence and skill to never imagine it occurring to you. Naturally, when the summons went out you rushed to the office, but now you being fired doesn’t seem all that bad. Or, has the CEO been killing ex-employees all along?

You knew the ins and outs of the surface office, but down here, you aren’t sure what’s what. You have to be extremely careful, to read the signs of the environment. And maybe, just maybe, you might be able to get out of here alive.

You act on Night 0, and have two lives (in addition to a Crystalized Life).

Once per Day, you may guess the mafia’s Night kill for the following Night. If the player you guess is killed by any member of the Mafia that Night, you become immortal for the next Day phase.

Once per Night, you may guess the lynch for the following Day. You cannot guess yourself. If the player you guess is lynched, you become immortal for the next Night phase.

For every pair of phases (the Day and Night of the same number) you correctly guess, gain 2 lives. If there are 10 or less players alive, gain only 1 life.

Whenever you decide to make a guess and are wrong, you are killed once during the phase guessed in question. If you are immortal during that phase, the kill is prevented.

While immortal, you cannot lose lives through any means, and cannot have the following status effects occur: Missing, Poisoned, Roleblocked, Silenced, Obliterated. Any other status may occur.

It only takes 50% of the vote (instead of 50% + 1) votes to hammer you.

You win if you survive to the end of the game. You cannot change your win condition through any means.
