Friends, readers, and countrymen, there is a discussion thread now! If you ever wanted to ask me about the comic in general or have theories and things you think are out of place in this thread, put it all there!

You don't know. Falling? Is this falling? Are you dead? Do you exist?

>Sam: Land.

Huh.

Guess the guy really wants you to do it, huh.

Yeah, you guess.

"Uh, hey, this is Sam. I'm in the basement...I think?"

"Doc says we should all head down here. He SAYS he found the switch that'll get us out of here."
"I'm not sure if I believe him, but, uh..."
"It couldn't hurt? I guess. I think, together, that, um, we'll be safe."

"Besides, if this place is all falling apart..."
"It makes sense to stick close...?"
"We might...uh...need each other...and..."
"Um."
"Yeah."

Okay, then—now all that's left to do is to play the waiting game.

While you may expect a new post here by me to be an update, I hate to say it's actually an announcement of a (somewhat brief) hiatus.

Here is a tumblr post with the reasons why!

See you guys in October!

RE: Superego
Hey everyone, I'm back!

It came to my attention over the hiatus that there was an unauthorized translation of Superego floating around. I'd really like it if you told me you plan to translate Superego in the first place (instead of me having to stumble upon it randomly), but this one had an extra layer in that it added a bunch of extraneous elements that ended up changing the story. Please don't do that!

For a translation, I don't mind localized speech or names (whatever gets the same mood across in your native tongue), but I do take offense to changing story concepts themselves (as that changes the mood itself). This is a story primarily about mental illness, written by me. Adding new things and changing others is not only disrespectful to me as an author, but it makes it not my story anymore.

(...And if you DO have an idea that's "Superego, but (x)," why not use that creative power to make your own original story instead?)

If you have any interest in translating Superego or have questions about how to translate something, please shoot me a PM anywhere I'm available! I don't bite, I promise. In fact, I'd like to make a website for Superego once it's over, and if you have a translation done by that time, I'd love to include it as an option!

With that out of the way, let's get back to what you came here for!
