do you mean the good kind of caring or the "it's none of their business and they won't leave me alone" caring

i guess both, but i did specifically mean the first one

i see a lot of "oh this is relatable" but not anything useful.

That's the overlapping of the two, which is indeed awful, but I'm also talking about both being present in differing contexts.

by the way, when i posted this at the hour of "i'm supposed to sleep" i intended the topic to read as "i'm worthless and nobody cares about (me and they also don't care about things closely connected to my identity)" and not "i'm worthless and nobody cares about me (and related topics)" but now that it's the afternoon i think this is a pleasant turn of events

tbh i only thought this way because i was awake and everyone else was asleep. also i was hungry. of course i'm gonna be ignored if everyone else is asleep. the solution would be to sleep, but i was more hungry than i was tired.

That's pretty much more or less exactly what I feel.

My coping method is to also not care about myself.

Not sure how it actually helps.

but then i realize that there remains

one to three people who don't have to fuck off. and telling these other people who i enjoy talking to when we get the chance to fuck off isn't fair because they're otherwise decent people.

That's usually how I kind of deal with the people who do care.

Tell them to go away and leave me to rot.

If that doesn't work I try to make them stop caring so they leave me to rot.

I am a bit of all bark and no bite, though. Some part of me really hates my happiness. Haha.
