Right now, the subscriber/viewer base is so small that any ad revenue would be minuscule.

Looking at youtube stuff, the big income marker is around 1000 subscribers. Seeing as how we'd be happy to just have ten, monetization is still a far off dream.

As for using the funds for hosting costs, while that certainly is feasible, ET has had no shortage of hosting funds (and generous donors) for some time. We should certainly think about what sort of things some extra revenue could bring to the community, but factoring in that hot youtube money is probably counting chickens before they've been conceived.

Let's use the extra money to buy a swimming pool
