Of course it doesn't, but it still has the properties of the basement you had programmed.

The monitors were still down here. The room initially containing the shadows was still down here. You were able to teleport there, even!

You have to believe that there is stability amongst the chaos. You have to stay in control.

Even though things appear to be collapsing, the worst damage is still in the main hospital areas. Until something like, say, the individual subjects' rooms combining all into one happens, you have to assure yourself you still have a shot.

Until something like, say, the individual subjects' rooms combining all into one happens, you have to assure yourself you still have a shot.

On top of totally jinxing things this is exactly the kind of line of thought in a dream that will inevitably lead to that exact thing within a dream happening.

I can't tell you the number of times when in a dream I thought "Well I sure hope [undesirable thing] doesn't happen" only for that exact thing to happen immediately after. Sometimes even simultaneous with the thought itself.

I mean sure this is a shared dreamspace supposed to be kept stable by a machine, but if even one mind is considering the possibility of the individual subject rooms merging I think it's reasonable to assume things will soon be trending that way (assuming they aren't already).

You have to admit you're getting anxious, but you can't help but wonder if he's right.

NOTE: Photobucket seems to be going the way of Dropbox (i.e., disabling/limiting hotlinking), so I finally bit the bullet and purchased my own hosting space to end this circus once and for all. Just like last time, I won't be fixing any images on the forum threads since that'd require time and effort editing every post, but the mirror will always be clean and up-to-date.

Big props to the mirror site finally having mass page editing; I would've lost all motivation if I had to replace every single link a second time in one year.
