You leap onto the massive column of stone, but the spear does not merely pass the balcony by. Instead, it crashes into the balcony, obliterating the smaller stone structure, though what happened to the king you cannot tell from your rather tenous position, moving as fast as you can to stay atop the tower facade until it slows. Emerging from a broken window, Amond Varangian floats up to stand across from you. Right, it is a building with rooms - though how he escaped being crushed is not immediately apparent.
The king laughs as you give your speech, a dry humorless sound that is nearly carried away by the wind.
"I know who you are and i know what you have done, and you are no knight of mine. You were the one who started this. And under orders from Ziras? I knew he was naïve, but i had hoped he knew better than to meddle in the affairs of gods. Look at us now, squabbling over right and wrong as the world burns around us. What makes think you can claim victory where i have failed, 'chosen knight'? Over a god?"
