Pokemon XY OU Monotype Tournament - STARTING

I was eventually convinced that swagkey is worth banning (or rather, swagplay in general) not because it's gimmicky (it is, but so are lots of things) or because it's brainless (it's not, there are a lot of calculated risks to take and decisions to make), but because it's essentially something that can't be answered with any consistency except by one otherwise-useless ability and another very rare (but great) one. There is no skill in responding to swagplay; it all comes down to a series of coin flips and switches that mulch you with entry hazards. Most strategies have answers that require skill and decision-making on the part of the person being targeted by them: switch to a wall or a faster sweeper against a sweeper, switch to a stallbreaker or booster against a wall, switch to a cleric or magic bouncer against status-heavy annoyers. Swagplay... not so much.

That said, Aegislash as an uber is... silly. But I may be prejudiced.
