SpoilerAlright, so. LP, Fogel and I were talking earlier today, and we're thinking that given the even-for-us-this-is-a-little-much stagnation + replacery with the battle, I might end up going with a reboot. In particular, seeing as PYP isn't interested in continuing to write AMP, if I recall correctly, we'd have a cast that's more replacements than originals anyway, so we might as well give new battlers another opening.
Basically, the plan as it stands is to more or less start from scratch with four new players/characters; not sure to what extent the previous events of the battle would play into it, but the goal would be to avoid making it too difficult for new players to gain their footing. The main reason for only having four slots rather than eight is because shit's going slow enough as it stands, and Fogel in particular would rather we not lose out on that front.
That being said, I can understand that this isn't exactly an ideal situation, and the remaining players, plus Agen and Slorange, should definitely weigh in if they care to. If not then whatever I guess, streets ahead.
