To bring this to its inevitable conclusion, my personal preferences for the games in the classic series go:
3, 8, 9, 2, 10, 5, 6, 4, MM&B, 1, 7
I really like the sliding but don't like what the charging did for the game so 3 kinda was the pinnacle of the franchise for me :L
(plus I may or may not have had a crush on MagnetMan as a kid <_<)
