I would love to see a Final Fantasy Tactics-style Pokemon game. I like the collecting aspect of Pokemon and if they grafted that onto an actually fun battle system the results could be great.
I'm not sure about the serious plot thing, though... I think the whole conceit of Pokemon gets kind of ridiculous if you look at it closely.
